No one's POV: 3rd person

There's an old saying, once a liar always a liar. It isn't always true, but it just might be in this case. It was the best Monday morning ever for our favorite heroine, until it wasn't. Marinette had woken up earlier than usually which meant she wouldn't be late to school today, if she remembers that she has school that is. "Very impressive design Marinette!" Tikki squeaked, "but don't you have to go to school today?" The blunette stopped designing her dress and stared at her kwami for a few seconds before panicking. "I'm gonna be late!!" she exclaimed. Tikki looked at her owner and sighed, "Typical Marinette. " She cupped Tikki in her palms and gently placed her, along with some cookies, in her little purse, which seemed to have all the right things at the right times. Marinette picked up her school bag and double checked her books to ensure she wasn't forgetting any. She then picked up her tablet and put it into her bag before running downstairs to the living room. "Hey mom and dad!" she exclaimed and picked up an apple from the fruit bowl.

"Hello dear" her mother said while looking at her with a confused expression plastered on her face.

"Why are you looking at me like that mom?" Marinette asked.

"I was just confused as to why you were in such a hurry darling," Sabine said as Marinette looked at her then at Tom then back at her again.

"What are you talking about mom?" she asked tilting her head in confusion.

"She means you have two hours and thirty minutes until school starts, so what's the hurry?" Tom stated. Marinette glanced at her purse then moved her attention back to her parents. " I must've set my clock wrong" she replied, while nervously laughing. "I'll go back to my room and reset it right now!" she exclaimed before running back up into her room as her parents stared at her while shaking their heads. 'She'll never change' they thought. Marinette sat at her desk and turned on her monitor to watch Gabriel Agreste ads, specifically the ones with Adrien. Marinette kept playing the advertisement over and over again until she was stuck in a trans. Half an hour later she was brought back to reality by some girl shouting something about Adrien. She heard someone call her name from behind her but she couldn't quite recognize who it was. "Marinette?" the person called out again. 'Wait a second... Is that Adrien?!?' she thought. 'It couldn't be! Could it? I mean why would he come to my house at 6:30 in the morning' She turned around to see none other than her crush Adrien Agreste standing behind her. 'It is Adrien! He's here in my room! At 6:30 in the morning! But why?' She thought to herself. She was brought back to reality once again when Adrien put his hand on her shoulder and asked, "are you okay, Marinette?"

"Y- yes" she managed to stutter out, "d- did you some needthing I- I mean- need something"

"Actually I do" he replied, showing her his signature smile.

"W- What is it?"

"I've heard rumours that you are great at chemistry and I am currently failing" he said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"O- oh uh w- well uh that's true, I guess" she said while looking down.

"Could you maybe help me out?"

"Sure"

"You're a life saver Mare"

"S- should we start from the basics?"

~An hour later~

"Thanks Mare" Adrien said as he hugged her.

"No problem Adrien!" she said cheerfully as she hugged him back, "let me know if you need anymore help with anything"

"I will. Shall we go to school?" he asked breaking their hug. He honestly didn't want to let her go. He wanted to stay like that forever but he had to let go of her.
