~The Visitors Pt.4~

"Can we go to Haru-chan's house?! We wanna see where she lives too!" Honey asked, very excitedly. Kofuyu looked to Haruhi, waiting for her answer. They had just reached the apartment complex, and were getting ready to go inside.

"Yeah, sure," agreed Haruhi reluctantly. The two girls lead them up the stairs to where Haruhi lived. They were the first to enter too, and when the hosts saw them take their shoes off, they copied. "Just put the bags on the kitchen counters."

Kofuyu went into the kitchen, rolled up her sleeves, and washed her hands to get ready to cook. Haruhi joined her shortly after, and the rest of them either watched from the table or looked around the living room.

Kofuyu felt a small tug on the end of her sweater. He looked at her with hopeful eyes and asked, "Do you need any help, Kofu-chan?" She was about to decline, but she could see that look in his eye. He really wanted to help, and Kofuyu didn't want to hurt his feelings.

"Okay. Why don't you wash your hands?" She suggested. Honey-senpai grinned before rushing off to do so. Kofuyu set up the cutting board and the pre-washed cabbage, and when he was ready, she showed him what to do. It wasn't long after Honey started when the others began offering their own assistance.

With the help of most of the hosts, it didn't take long for the food to finish. The two, Haruhi and Kofuyu, did most of the work, and the rest, like young children, eagerly did their best to help.

"You guys did better than I thought you would," admitted Kofuyu. She kneeled at the table and got comfortable.

"Hey, what do you mean by that?" Hikaru and Kaoru asked defensively and eyed all the food in the middle of the table.

"Seriously? How often do you guys have to cook?" asked Kofuyu. She waved them off. "It was a compliment."

"A backhanded one," mumbled Hikaru.

"Doesn't matter. Sit down and eat," Kofuyu directed. They all gathered around the table. Even with the limited amount of space, the seven of them were all able to comfortable sit and serve themselves from the pot in the middle.

"So, Haruhi, Kofuyu," Kaoru started the conversation.

"Do you two have a lot of friends in the neighborhood?" Hikaru asked. Kofuyu was in the middle of chewing, so Haruhi answered first.

"Well, I know some people around here from middle school, but I don't keep in touch with a lot of them," Haruhi answered.

"No," Kofuyu offered no explanation.

"What about your future boyfriend?" Hikaru and Kaoru teased. Kofuyu rolled her eyes. The main point of their first question was really only to ask more questions about Sumio.

"Boyfriend!?" Tamaki wheezed.

"Well, first of all, that's wrong, and secondly, I'd barely consider him a friend," answered Kofuyu. Again, she didn't want to elaborate. She continued eating while keeping her eyes away from any of their faces.

In reality, she didn't have any feelings for Sumio in the slightest, and she couldn't see herself ever feeling that way. How could she? She was too busy suppressing her feelings for Kyoya.

"Guys, come on," Haruhi gently scolded them.

"Yeah, Kofuyu wouldn't date someone like that!" Tamaki shouted.

"You wanna see more pictures of Takejiro?" Kofuyu raised her eyebrows and looked down at the table. They weren't very similar in physical appearance, but the way they dressed and acted definitely reminded her of her former boyfriend at times.
