~Izumi Shopping Mall Pt.1~

Haruhi and Kofuyu walked through the mall. Neither girl had a specific plan other than to see what they found.

"That's how you ended up telling him you loved him?" Haruhi questioned, a disbelieving look on her face. Kofuyu had just finished telling Haruhi a quick story summary without giving too many details away. Kofuyu shrugged. "But he said it back, at least."

Before Kofuyu could respond, another body backed into hers. The girls stopped walking, and the guy turned around to apologize.

"Sorry- hey!" The guy grinned. "I haven't seen you in such a long time!" Sumio said. "And you're Fuyu's friend, right? I've met you before."

"Uh, yeah," Haruhi confirmed.

"Fuyu, you never called me," Sumio whined.

"I got busy," Kofuyu reasoned. "Then I got a boyfriend, and I don't think he would've liked that."

"You did? Someone snatched you up already?" Sumio hummed, still with a flirty smile. He took a step closer to the girl, and Kofuyu shrugged. Her eyes narrowed. She had just told him she wasn't single, and he kept trying to flirt with her.

"Yeah," Kofuyu spoke blankly. She didn't back away from him and kept eye contact. "He's-"

"Kyoya-senpai?" Haruhi called. Kofuyu looked at her, confused, then followed her eye line.

"Huh?" Kyoya looked over. One hand was on his waist and his face hardened when he noticed the boy in front of Kofuyu.

"Kyoya-senpai, what are you doing here?" Haruhi asked. The three of them watched as he moved to stand behind Kofuyu.

"That's him," Kofuyu looked back to Sumio. "He's my boyfriend," she confirmed right before Kyoya grabbed her waist with one hand and pulled her back into him.

"This is your... friend, Sumio, was it?" Kyoya spoke cooly, but his eyes sent him a cold glare.

"Yeah," Kofuyu answered shortly. The two stared blankly at Sumio, waiting for him to get the hint. Another unfamiliar voice called his name from behind Sumio. He glanced back to the source and then faced forward again.

"Well, I guess it was nice seeing you again, Kofuyu," Sumio sighed and tucked a hand into his jeans pocket. He smiled, ignoring the glares from the guy protectively holding her close. "I should catch up with the rest of my group." He tilted his head down. "If this doesn't work out... you have my number."

Kofuyu didn't hide her disgusted expression, but she decided to bite her tongue. She didn't give him a response as he turned away and left. She was glad she never saved his phone number because of the disrespect alone.

Once he was out of earshot, she turned her head to look at Kyoya. "I don't, and I wouldn't." When their eyes met, both of their expressions softened. "What are you doing here?"

"Tamaki dragged everyone here. I was up late last night, and still asleep when they brought me here. I woke up on the bench," Kyoya explained. Kofuyu rolled her eyes. She was about to ask, why are the rest of the hosts here? But, she was distracted by the next question Kyoya asked. "Do you have your phone on you?"

"Uh, yeah, here," Kofuyu reached into her purse and handed him the phone.

"So, the others are here too?" Haruhi's face showed her dread. She was looking forward to calmly browsing the mall with Kofuyu. No part of it included dealing with Tamaki and the other hosts. Kofuyu shrugged.

"There's a password," Kyoya spoke and turned the phone back towards Kofuyu. Her face pinkened.

"It's, um, eleven twenty-two," Kofuyu whispered, avoiding eye contact. Kyoya's eyes flicked to her. His lips pulled into a smile. His birthday. Her password is his birthday. He punched the numbers into the phone and went to call any of the hosts.
