"Pardon?! You're telling me you actually went to the Dwarfs' Mine in search of a magestone?" Crowley spoke in surprise when the group had come up to him

"Uh...? Yes?" The 3 boys spoke to the headmaster, question marks appearing above their heads comically

Y/n just tilted her head at the headmaster, "was it not you who gave us this alternative?" She questioned

"I didn't expect that you'd seriously do it.
And never in my wildest imaginings did I think you would actually return with a magestone!
And here I spent all evening preparing your expulsion documents."

Crowley complained, giving away the fact that he didn't believe in them

"Are you serious?! While we were fightin' some crazy monster for you, you were expelling us?!" Grim yelled angrily from his spot in y/n's arms

""Monster"...?" Crowley questioned

"Yeah. There was a monster, all right.
A big, nasty one. It nearly killed us!" Ace yelled, annoyed with the headmaster

"Would you kindly relate this story in full?" Crowley turned to the only trustworthy person there, y/n.

As y/n explained what had happened, they all walked to the headmasters office.

"Hmmm.
So a mysterious monster was living in the mines.
And the four of you worked together to destroy it, and then brought its magestone back to me?"

Crowley inquired, leaning forward In his seat

"I don't know that I'd call it "working together."" Ace denied to which Deuce continued on

"t was more like we just happened to share the same goal at the same time..."

"Oh, gracious... Ohhh... Ohhhhhhhh! *Sobbing*" then suddenly the headmaster broke into tears and y/n immediately grabbed a handkerchief and started trying to comfort him

"What is this guy's deal?! Burstin' into tears in public? At this age?!" Grim cringed at the headmasters actions, annoyed that y/n had put him down to comfort Crowley

"In all the decades I've worked at this school...
The day has finally come when the students of Night Raven College have joined hands together to defeat a common foe!"

Crowley explained happily while sniffling

"Whoa! No! No way would I join hands with that guy!" Deuce spoke in disgust, already shifting away from Ace

" Okay, one, there was no joining of hands. Gross. And two, exactly HOW old are you, headmage?" Ace spoke, annoyed with the headmaster

"At this moment, I am moved beyond words.
This incident has proven my hopes were justified.
Y/n! , my doubts are allayed! For you... You possess the talents of a beastmaster!" Crowley exclaimed bringing the girl into a tight hug making her tense up.

"You promise your not a cannibal?" She mumbled

"A... A beastmaster? And What talents are those, exactly?" Grim asked

"My students have all been selected by the Dark Mirror for their exceptional talent and potential.
But great talent begets great pride and big egos.
Most are so self-reliant and self-centered that they never even consider cooperating with others."

Crowley proceeded to explain

"You make it sound like that's a bad thing." Grim huffed out, crossing his arms

"But you, y/n, possess no magic." Crowley continued

"A-" y/n tried to speak, feeling guilty about lying about her magic hair but then her mothers voice rang out in her head and she shut her mouth and allowed Crowley to continue
