Chapter 18

"You should be sleeping" I said seeing Harry in the conservatory at 3 am everyone had gone to our house after the borrow burnt down

"So should you" He retorted

"Yeah but I'm an adult so I can technically do what I want" I shrugged sitting down next to him 

"Why are you awake?" He asked 

"I could hear you thinking so I figured I should come check on you" 

"I'm fine I just blame myself for the borrow getting burnt down"

"Don't it's not your fault some maniac is obsessed with you"

"That's one way to put it" He let out a laugh my answer catching him off guard

"Have you seen the guy? He looks like a roll on deodorant" I laughed catching him even more of guard 

"He kinda does" He laughed 

"You are welcome for that visual now get to bed before Molly gives me an earful for keeping you up" I said ushering him back inside

"But you didn't"

"We know that I'll still get the blame because I'm the adult here so go to bed"

"I'm sorry for waking you up" He said quietly

"Charlie did you just stopped me from going back to sleep but it's not your fault I just can't turn my powers off I could have stayed in bed left you on your own but then you'd sat out there all night and I can't be responsible for you getting a cold on right after christmas" I smiled disappearing back into my own room to find Charlie half awake patting my half of the bed looking for me

"Where did you go?" He grumbled when I crawled back into bed

"Downstairs someone was blaming themselves and was having some loud thoughts" I said feeling his arms wrap around me tightly pulling me into his chest

"Harry?"

"Yeah but he's okay now I just reminded him it isn't his fault that some maniac that looks like a roll on deodorant is obsessed with him" I chuckled making him break out laughing trying to be quiet not wanting to wake up the boys in the next room

"Your mind works in fantastic ways my love" He laughed 

"Do you think it's time to tell them?" I asked changing the subject the tone now more serious 

"What do you think?" He asked knowing exactly what I was referring to 

"I'm not sure I hate keeping it to myself but at the same time I'm not sure the time is right"

"It's safer for everyone not to say anything yet but it's almost time when summer break comes they need to know"

"Your right"

"See if you can get some sleep you've done a lot the last few days so you need it I love you" 

"I love you too"

"Don't even think about it you two" I warned seeing Fred and George giggle to themselves in the upstairs hallway clearly waiting for the outcome of a prank most likely aimed at my fiancé the entire house was buzzing getting ready for new years eve

"We weren't doing anything" They lied 

"You do know that I can hear your thoughts right pack it up he's not even up here" I sighed gesturing to whatever was near my door continuing my way downstairs

"Could you go help Ron and Harry I think I made a mistake putting them in charge of getting the horses in I sent Charlie out to help but that just seemed to made it worse" Mum asked looking defeated out the kitchen window watching the 3 run around each trying to catch a horse to bring it in

"Well thats painful to watch" I sighed teleporting myself to the stable not wanting to walk through the snow grabbing a bucket putting some feed in it opening each stall on my way to the paddock opening

"Dinner time come on everybody" I yelled shaking the bucket all the horses now running in eager to get fed finding their own stalls the boys following a defeated look on their faces 

"How many times have I told you to just shake a bucket?" I smiled at Charlie who just gave me the finger in return while I got the feed ready for everyone now that i had gotten them inside

"Did you walk out here in those shoes?" Ron asked looking at my heals 

"No I teleported out here it's much faster really" I shrugged putting each bucket into the right stall

"So we can get a lift back inside?" Charlie asked looking at me hopefully

"I can't teleport with all 3 of you besides I thought you hated teleporting"

"I do but it's cold and I don't want to lose a toe to the cold so I'll suck it up"

"What's wrong with it?" Ron asked now terrified to teleport 

"Nothing he's just used to apperating" I assured him Charlie had complained that teleporting tingled in a weird way I just chopped it up to him being used to apperating seeing as dad never complained

"Let me guess it tingled" He smirked cockily as I came back from getting Ron and Harry inside

"I should leave you out here"  

"But you won't" 

"You sound so sure"

"I know you if you really were going to leave me out here you'd done it already"

"Fair assumption"

"Besides we have to be you know where in 5 minutes"

"Then let's go before they notice we're missing and come looking for us"

"Where did you guys go earlier you were gone for a while" Mum asked most of the house now outside lighting fireworks while we made the last few preparations for midnight

"No where speciel just needed a little time to ourselves" I lied

"You got married didn't you?" She asked seeing straight through me

"We didn't want to make a big deal out of it so we just kind of did it while everyone was busy we're gonna tell everyone later don't worry" I shrugged hoping she wouldn't get mad at me 

"I'm so happy for you but it'll be weird calling you Weasley from now on" She smiled 

"I kept Lupin we talked about it a few weeks ago I prefer it that way besides it's a little poetic that the werewolf's in the family are born Lupin so nothing changed besides my marital status" I smiled just as everybody filed back inside with only a few minutes to midnight 

"10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..."

"Happy new year" Everyone yelled raising their glass in the air

"We got married"
