"What?" Pacifica squealed.

"Um...I've never seen this place, but..." I looked over at her, clearly see through, fading to white at the end, like me. "This is indeed the mindscape."

"What is that?" She asked nervously.

I shook my head. "Not a nice place."

"Welcome, children!" A familiar drawl called.

We spun to see...

"Mr. Pichre?" Pacifica asked.

"Yes, or..." He grinned evilly, losing his accent. "Maybe someone else."

My head was spinning.

Pichre.

What a peculiar last name. P. I. C. H. R. E.

Oh god.

Rearrange the letters and...

"I hate you!" I screeched, attempting to attack him, but I just went straight through.

"The feeling's mutual." He shrugged as I righted myself.

"What's going on?" Pacifica asked, voice trembling.

"I've come to give you another chance, kid." He laughed.

"Oh, come on!" I groaned. "My answer is still no. It will always be no."

"As an added bonus, you get out of here!" He grinned.

"I. Don't. Care." I gritted my teeth.

"You know there's no other way." He raised an eyebrow. "In either situation."

"Uh..." Pacifica spoke up again. "What's going on?"

"This jerk's trying to get Mabel." I muttered, turning to the aforementioned jerk. "Why do you want her so badly?"

"I don't know." He shrugged, then laughed. "Just kidding, I do."

"Come on!" I screamed. "Where are we even?"

"The place I keep all these kids I have grudges against." He shrugged.

"Pacifica?" I raised an eyebrow.

"She was with you at the time, what can I say?" He shrugged. "The offer still stands."

"No!" I yelled again.

"What. Is. Going. On?" Pacifica asked again.

I turned to her. "Pacifica, may I introduce you to my archenemy." I glared at him.

"Bill Cipher."
