As much as I would love to think this wasn't real, it was true. Today was concert day and the people just kept rolling in. It was crazy.

"Are you okay?" I turned around to find Jake standing behind me

"Yeah? I really don't know. This is huge, I know we've been at MAMA and all of that but this was our concert and so many people were here."

"I know, it's crazy."

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Of course, we're going to see Engene! I can't wait for their reaction to One In A Billion."

"They're gonna lose it. Are your parents coming over?"

"Yeah, I think everyone's parents are coming but I'm not sure about Niki."

"I think he mentioned his mum coming with his sister, they're still in Korea aren't they?"

"Yeah, I think so. Let's go back to the green room, they're about to start piling in now."

"Alrighty, help me up?"

"Sure." He pulled me up seeing as I sat on the stage before being taken to hair and makeup. I really hoped Mum would be here but Changmin said he would make it.

The pressure was getting higher as we saw fans coming in right before we went backstage. We met up with the rest of the group and went through our final touches as well as our chant before heading out to the stage.

The moment we looked up we were in awe. The whole stadium was filled up with people, Engenes, and they were so loud we could hear them through our in-ears.

With bright smiles on our faces, we went into position and the concert started.

For two nights, we got to experience the love of engenes life but we were so tired. Changmin along with a few of his bandmates (Kevin, Younghoon, Sunwoo, and Juyeon) came for both nights and treated me to lunch the day after both concerts but our mum couldn't make it. We spoke on the phone though and she wished me luck so I was satisfied with that.

The next few weeks before our flight to Anaheim continued to be hectic with concert practices, travel inquiries, hospital check-ups, and other solo activities.

With only a week left, I was called to the headquarters of ELLE Korea for a magazine shoot. This was the first time I was going in for a photoshoot without the boys so it felt super different with everyone's attention on me.

"Okay Aria, we have a few outfits laid out for you in the dressing room so pick anyone you'd like first then we'll start the shoot." The photographer, Lee Hyunjin, said directing me to the dressing rooms.

Chanmi had followed for moral support after convincing Dokyun she'd behave and not gush loudly to which he caved obviously because he was so whipped for her.

We took multiple pictures and changed sets multiple times until we were satisfied with the number of pictures we had taken. When we wrapped, we went straight to a restaurant to eat some food and I found it quite funny because it looked like Chanmi and Dokyun were my actual parents.

They dropped me off at the dorm soon enough and the boys bombarded me with questions and how they had missed me (they probably didn't and are doing this to annoy me) to which I rolled my eyes playfully to. We played around for a bit with Niki teaching me some gaming techniques before we all called it a night.

The final day before the flight had arrived and complications had started.

"So, Aria and I won't arrive until a day later?" Jay asked in disbelief. We were at one of the company's meeting rooms discussing the situation the airports would be in.

"Yeah I don't know what happened, it'll just be the two of you but we'll book a ticket for a bodyguard to protect you guys. I tried to move your tickets forward but the plane's fully booked." Dokyun explained

"But airports can get crowded and pushy..." I grilled off starting to get worried about the situation

"You'll be fine, we'll probably take the attention of you guys since we're going in first." Jungwon tried to calm me down

"But still, what if that doesn't happen?"

"Then we'll find another way, we always do," Jake spoke up before everyone shared worried glances at each other. Their flight was the next night so we saw them off at the door and had the dorm all to ourselves.

"Wanna watch a movie?"

"Hmm sure, what are we watching?"

"Home alone?"

"Oppa it's barely the end of September."

"Hey, it's a classic."

"Yeah, a Christmas classic but fine." I caved in watching the screen as the chaotic family showed up on the screen.

We ended up falling asleep on the couch together halfway through the movie and only woke up when someone knocked on the door.

"Aria, wake up, we're going to be late." I woke up dazed and confused with my hair sticking to the side of my mouth glancing at the clock to see 2:30 pm. We slept for almost 20 hours.

I got up as he went to open the door to see who had been knocking on the door. After peeping into the hole, he glanced at me with his hand on the handle.

"Aria, go to your room and get ready so we can leave quickly, I'll tell you when to come out." Not asking any questions I just got up and went into my room locking the door behind me for safety reasons.

I went ahead and got ready silently wondering why Jay had reacted in that way. I took a shower, changed into comfortable clothes, packed all the stuff I needed for my hand luggage, and sat on my bed, waiting.

Knocking brought me out of my thoughts before Jay's voice called out to me.

"Ria, let's go." I grabbed my tote bag along with my passport then pulled my bag behind me. Slowly, I opened the door and looked at him with a smile he returned. When I had looked behind him I understood why he had reacted that way and why he told me to go away.

"Hey Aria, let's get going, shall we? We don't want to be late." Minyoung spoke with a small smile before heading to the door.

Jay held my hand as we walked out locking the door behind him before heading to the car and zooming off to the airport. I sent the 06 group chat a quick message telling them not to miss me too much to which they sent the eye roll emoji and wished me a safe flight.

The airport wasn't crowded like it had been the day before which was good and before we knew it, we were seated in the plane getting ready for take-off. My headphones were on and I had my Kindle ready for the long flight ahead.
