Part 5 - Throwback

(Few weeks before)

"That's a bit harsh, don't you think?" Jisoo asked as soon as their two youngest members walked out from the room.

Jennie turned back towards the mirror and shrugged her shoulders. "It's for her own good. The media have been talking about us and most of it was not good. She's just going to have to grow up."

"You know how she is. She was just playing around and..."

Before Jisoo could finish her sentence, Jennie stood up suddenly. "This is not the time for playing. We need to focus. Our whole career is on the line here. How can she still act so childish in front of the camera? She's 20 years old for god sake!"

Jisoo shook her head as Jennie stormed out of the room. They were just finishing a Vlive session with Blinks while waiting for their managers to bring out the car. As usual, Lisa fools around making faces and acting cute in front of the camera.

She noticed earlier that even though she and Rose were laughing at Lisa's antics, Jennie's face remained serious. She didn't think much about it, not until she and Rose walked back from the bathroom just in time to see Jennie scolding Lisa.

"You are a grown up woman, so act like it! Better yet, save all your aegyo behind the camera! No one likes what you are doing just now. You are just making a fool of yourself!"

"I'm ..I'm sorry, Unnie. I..I'll promise not to do that again." Lisa replied before she walked out. When she passed them at the doorway, she gave them a small smile but Jisoo could see Lisa's sad eyes clearly. She nudged Rose's shoulder signalling her to follow and checked on their youngest member.

Yes. Sometimes she did feel like scolding Lisa for the same reason. As they were living together for nearly 6 years now, she knows how handful Lisa is. But even though Lisa acted so childish at times, that never happened when they were at practice or at work.

She's able to maintain her professionalism while they are recording songs, making the MVs or doing interviews. You'll only see her playful side when she's interacting with her family, friends or the Blinks. So she never felt it was a real problem that needed to be addressed but apparently it was for Jennie.

She needs to have a talk with Jennie. Her thoughts were interrupted however, when she heard Jennie called her name from outside the room.

"Unnie! Oppa called! The car's here."

They walked together to the basement parking lot. Jennie seemed distracted by her phone so she put on hold of her plan to have a talk with her. Soon as they reached the car, she took her usual seat on the front passenger side. She took a glance from the rear view mirror and was surprised when she made eye contact with Rose instead. Lisa has switched seats with Rose. She is now sitting at the back instead of the middle seat, beside Jennie. The youngest didn't even look over when Jennie took her seat.

Throughout their journey home, she noticed that Lisa hardly says anything. She will just reply whenever she is asked directly. But other than that she just continued to stare outside the car windows.

Jennie though continues conversing with them talking about their interviews earlier and upcoming schedules. In between conversations Jisoo can't help but notice that Jennie kept looking down at her phone as if waiting for something.

As soon as they reached the dorm, Jennie walked straight towards her room.

"I'm taking a shower. Jisoo unnie, can you please order dinner for me too. I want spicy noodles and gamjatang. Oooh..fried chicken too." Jennie piped up before the door closed behind her.

Jisoo and Rose looked at each other. "Erm..okay. That's not weird at all." Rose started.

Jisoo nodded her head. But turned around when she heard another door closing at the end of the hall.
