<Jess POV>
Death is simple
I could hear the sounds of the hospital around me, muffled - as if the entire world was underwater.
I could hear my family crying by my bedside.
I could hear the girls (who I had grown close with), Evie, Rory and Isa, begging for me to awaken.
I could hear the doctors and nurses bustling around me.
I could hear Caleb but only for a while (I could hear Hayden and Jayden through him out)
I could hear the heart-rate machine tracking me.
I could hear the drip, drip of the tap.
Life is difficult
That's why I let go. Letting myself fall into the ibis.
