Chapter 5 - One's mind flip leads to an untold truth

Up before the announcement, that's good. I need to do my daily routine since I've really been slacking due to this killing game. I headed to the gym to start but noticed Alice was already there. She doesn't mind me that much at least so I'll be fine

Alice: oh you are putting in worn as well Adam?

Adam: yes...I need to empty my mind as some would say

Alice: Ozan would say that

Adam: ..don't remind me

Alice: right sorry

As myself and Alice were training I was forced to think about what had just happened, we had lost two more students, that itself wouldn't cause much pain not even one from my own class like Vicky however the full return of my memories certainly didn't help. I was forced to remember everything I had done from killing Kate and Darian to my freak out afterwards, it wasn't a good time however I knew I would have to remember if someday

Alice: you really seem to be staring into space

Adam: just don't have good memories of the last trial

Alice: that makes sense, there's only seven of us left now and the cracks are starting to show

Adam: between Lewis looking the saddest he's been yet and all that going on with Faye and Harry

Alice: I suppose the two of us just need to help out more then

Adam: it would be best

Eventually the morning announcement played and the two of us got to the dining area as usual Sebastian was already there and it didn't take too long for the others to arrive

Jill: hi bro brother Adam

Adam: hello Jill

Jill: oh big bro Lewis isn't here yet

While that was true there was someone else I was paying more attention about

Faye: ...

Faye looks like she hasn't slept all night and I don't think this is the doing of Ozan's death something else has caused this yet I'm not sure exactly what

Harry: hey Faye!

Faye: huh?

Harry: sorry I was trying to talk with you but you wouldn't respond I was getting a little worried

Faye: I apologise I didn't get much sleep yesterday

Alice: losing Ozan must've done a lot to you right?

Faye: yeah that

She's lying, I'm sure Ozan's death affected her but paying attention to her past actions makes it clear a death of someone close to her wouldn't make her sleepless so what did cause it?

Sebastian: well if that is all sorted I believe we should get ready

Harry: ready?

Alice: he's talking about the next floor it would've opened

Adam: we should wait for Lewis at the very least

Lewis: you don't need to I'm here

Harry: Lewis are you ok?

Lewis: yeah just needed a bit of extra time to sleep plus a little self time

Alice: aren't you pushing yourself a little too much?

Lewis: I appreciate the concern but I'm not about to let myself fall to despair over what happened, the least I can do is help

Jill: big bro...
