im almost finished with the 1st season of free! (only 3-4 eps to go) and this... is just the realest stuff ive said all day, probs all week.
they both think that winning is the only aspect of swimming/heroics. not enjoyment/rescuing. they both have a rivalry against the protag, and used to be childhood friends with them. oh my gossshhhh bc this needs to be talked about more!!!!
rin is exactly like bakugo. in MULTIPLE ways. they both have fruity moments (nah bc when rin pinned Haruka against that gate i got butterflies) and both are competing against each other. also, both rin AND bakugo were unsatisfied with their victories because they "didn't win how they wanted to."
and when haruka beat rin, rin reacted similar to bakugo - he was shocked and angry, and vowed to defeat him one day, just like *le gasp* bakugo did!
