We're at the dinner table with Jordyn's family and its interesting to say the least.

"I'm just saying, if you got with Melissa, would you give me peasant sister privellages?" Apollo jokes.

"Apollo, you know I wouldn't see you any different. I would still love you regardless." Hayley tried to reassure her sister.

"Ah-ha! So you don't deny the possibility of you being with her." Apollo points her finger at Hayley. As is on cue, Hayley's phone started ringing, and seeing as I am sat next to her, I saw the contact. Melissa.

I nudged her and gave her a knowing look. She looked scared. I took the hint and didn't shine light on it. Luckily, nobody seemed to notice this.

"So, Chelsea. What do you get up to nower days?" Tina asked.

"I go to Uni. I study English as a Foreign Language and some other languages. I also work part-time at a coffee shop that actually brought Jordyn and I together." I smiled.

"What other languages do you study?"

"Spanish, French and German." I state.

"Funny that, I speak fluent in all of those. My own mother is half Spanish and I used to take French classes, and my sister did German and taught me what she learned. I did the same as well." Tina explained.

"Maybe you could help me then." I suggest.

"Maybe I could."

"So, did you pass your multilingual genes to your kids?" I joke.

"They all speak Spanish and Welsh. I know Ruth and Zoey speak some French and Jordyn  and Danny speak a little bit Italian, but other than that, no."

"Jordyn? You speak Italian?" I said looking over to her. "And Spanish? And Welsh?"

"Maybe?" she scratched the back of her head.

"And you kept it quiet?" I feign anger.

"I'm sorry, it's just not some-"

"I'm messing with you, babe." I cut her off, also expecting a reaction from the new pet name. She just looked at me and visibly relaxed. I don't think she's bothered by it.

"So, how many of you guys are married or taken?" I ask.

"I have a girlfriend called Milo. She's coming over tomorrow if you want to meet her." Raphie said.

"I'd love to, but I gotta go home soon. I have school tomorrow."

Jordyn leant down to whisper in my ear, "Call in sick, Raphie really likes to show off her girlfriend. And besides, that's more time for us to be together."

Her breath tickled my ear and neck and suddenly, I'm convinced.

"Nevermind. I'd love to meet her." I told Raphie.

Somehow, her smile got bigger and it was so adorable.

"What about everyone else? Any partners for you?"

"I have a girlfriend called, Evan. We've been together for a few years." Apollo stated.

I learned that everyone else was either interested or single. I'm gonna have so many people to buy for this Christmas.

We all finished and I thanked Jordyn's parents for the food as it was absolutely amazing. Jordyn led me to her old bedroom, which was in the hall to the right.

There were posters of bands she liked on the wall. The bed sheets were dark blue and black and there was a night stand next to it. There was desk on the left wall and I couldn't help but notice the assortment of musical instruments around her room.

There were four guitars on the wall, as well as a bass and ukulele. I also saw an electric drum set and a cello in one corner. There was a violin and a viola on the opposite wall of the guitars. How she space for all this, I do not know.

"You sure do have a lot of instruments." I point out.

"I sure do. Do you play any?" she asked, lying down on her bed. I closed the door behind me.

"Nope."

"Do you want to?"

"The drums seem cool."

"I'll teach you. Sit on the stool." she pointed the stool behind the drum kit.

She got up and walked behind me, bring another chair so she could sit with me between her legs. I blushed at this.

She moved her feet onto the pedals and took the drumsticks in her hands.

"This," she pointed to the right pedal, "Is the bass drum. Or the kick. That," pointing to the left pedal, "Makes the hi-hat sound different. You push your foot down, the hi-hat closes and makes a 'ts' sound. You take you foot off the pedal and it makes a 'tsh' sound." she explained and I nodded.

"This is the snare," she said, pointing to the drum in between our legs, "And that's all you need to know for now. Put your feet where mine are."

I moved my feet onto the pedals as she took hers off.

"Can you count?" she asked me. I laughed at this.

"Yeah." I answer.

"Thank god. All we need is 1, 2, 3, 4. On 1 and 3, you put your right foot down on the bass drum. 1. 2. 3. 4."

I put my foot down as she counted.

"You're a natural. Now" she hands me the drumsticks, "With you left hand, hit the snare in 2 and 4. Ready? 1. 2. 3. 4. Good. It gets tricky here. With you right, play: 1. 2. 3. 4. But also play the beats in between. So instead of 1. 2. 3. 4. It's 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and. Okay?" she takes my right and crosses it over my left to reach the hi-hat." Just do the 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and on there."

I did so, and she was very proud of me, which made me proud of myself.

"Now, put it all together. Take it slow. Ready? 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and, keep going without me counting."

I did so, counting in my head. When I stopped because my arms were getting tired, she scooped me into her arms and put me on her bed.

"Well done. It's like you were made for the drums." she said before kissing me. I giggled like a kid into the kiss.

We just cuddled on the bed and I looked at my new ring. I thought it look cool and smiled at it.

"I like them too." she said to me, kissing my cheek. I cuddled into her chest and I couldn't help but feel the familiar warmth she gave me.

We decided that it was getting late, so we showered and I borrowed some of Jordyn's PJ's because they were comfy.

We said our good nights to her family and got into bed. Cuddling like we do when we're together.

"Goodnight, babe." she whispered into my neck.

"Goodnight, darling." I replied.

And we both fell asleep in contentment. I am enjoying my stay at Jordyn's family home, they are quite the bunch and I could see myself loving them like my own sisters too.
