~Felix's POV~

By the time that Chan and I got to my therapist's office, I was four minutes late. I wasn't too worried, but Chan looked a bit antsy. He had a mask and hat on to cover his face and insisted that I wear a mask too just in case, but the moment we stepped into my therapist's office, I took it off.

She looked up the moment I entered the room, only to raise an eyebrow when she saw I had company--and when she saw me limping a little.

"Felix--" She started with a scoff, but I cut her off.

"He's my mate." I said simply as I shut the door behind Chan, who looked nervously at the therapist. "His name is Chan. Bang Chan."

"Yes, I'm aware of who your mate is." She responded with a scoff as she looked over my limp, seeming to decide to not ask. "It's all over the news and has my daughter losing her mind every second of the day."

"Oops." I mumbled nonchalantly as I took Chan's hand and led him further into the office to the couches and sat him down, before I sat next to him. "So can he join us today? I promise he'll be quiet."

"Are you confident enough to talk to me with him here?" She asked as she got up from her desk and came to sit on the opposite couch.

"Yes." I mumbled as I took his hand, holding it in both of mine as I placed it in my lap.

"Alright, then I suppose he can stay." She said as she crossed her legs and took the cap off of her pen. "So, besides everything that's happened with the media, what is new for you? Have you felt any changes recently?"

"No."

"Including the media, have you?"

"I...may have had a panic attack." I mumbled a bit awkwardly, my eyes flitting down as I felt Chan squeezing my hand a bit at my words. I purred comfortingly for him, before I looked back at my therapist.

"So your relationship's exposure has caused you increased anxiety?"

"I wouldn't say that so much." I mumbled. "I mean, in the moment, it didn't feel good. My friend told me about it not even a minute after I woke up, and it came as a bit of a shock. So I panicked. But I was fine after awhile, and I haven't thought too much about it since."

"Have you been exposed to anything that might trigger your anxiety again? Have you seen any negative posts or anything that would bother you, or have you thought about anything like that?"

"No." I mumbled, before I indicated Chan. "He cut off all my social media. It's all private, so as long as I don't look at anything pertaining to him or me, then I don't see it. I haven't seen it."

"So you don't actually know if you'll panic again if you see what's being said about your relationship."

"...No."

She scoffed a bit as she took a few notes to remember my responses. Her eyes fell on our hands, the way we were holding them, and also how closely we sat.

"So, would you say that you're still happy in your relationship? Has this put a damper on anything?"

"I'm still very happy." I responded, before I sent Chan a little smile. The alpha looked down at me and though I couldn't see it, it looked like he smiled back at me.
