Chapter 69

Good morning~~

I slept in a bit, but I'm here to update just as soon as I opened my eyes~

Also, idk if I've said this yet or not, but I've started writing past chapter 100. I believe I'm on 103 or 104 now~

I'm taking a little break from this story once again to write in a different one. I got inspiration for a Felix X Straykids story, so I've been writing in that for the past few days 😁 and I'm quite enjoying it. I have 4 chapters and I'm gonna start 5 before long. I don't know how long it will be before I'm done with that though lol. Probably around chapter 10 I'll get bored and drop it. I usually do. Some stories I'll write one little chapter and never touch it again, and others I'll write 10-15 and never touch it again 😅

It sucks~ but that's how I am~

(We won't mention that one heterosexual draft I have that has nearly 50 chapters and was almost completely finished when I dropped it-- 🤡)

~Felix's POV~

The next morning after Chan and I spent a sweet day in bed together, I ended up waking up before Chan usually would for work. But not necessarily of my own accord. I was curled up next to Chan and we were both asleep, only for me to wake up with a sudden sick feeling in my stomach. I shifted in Chan's arms lazily and wished for my sudden rush of nausea to go away, but as I laid in his arms with a pout on my face at the uncomfortable feeling I woke up to, it only seemed to get worse and worse. Until I had to shove Chan's arms off of me a bit roughly so he couldn't fight me on it in his sleep, and got up to go to the bathroom. I had woken up Chan with my sudden quick movements, followed by quick steps to the bathroom. The alpha groaned as I got out of bed and went, sitting up with an annoyed whine as he watched me through slitted eyes. But moments after he heard me coughing up my last night's dinner, I could hear the alpha quickly getting up to come and see me.

"Babe?" Chan called groggily but alertly at the same time. He furrowed his brows when he found me throwing up into the toilet, but despite his confusion, he came over to me and crouched next to me to comfort me. He wrapped an arm around my waist from behind me and softly crooned, while his other hand gently pulled back and held my hair.

I don't know how long we were sitting there, but by the time that I stopped throwing up and was only cramping a bit in my stomach, it was five. Chan had to get ready to go to work, and he didn't look happy about it.

"I can tell Jisung and Changbin that I can't make it today, baby. I know they would understand. Are you sure you don't want me to stay here? I can run and get you some medicine."

"No, I'll be fine." I mumbled as I leaned back into his arms. The alpha looked worried, but he also seemed to trust me. He gently kissed my cheek and helped me to stand back up, grabbing some of the toilet paper to gently wipe my mouth. Despite his need to head to work soon, the alpha still made sure that I'd brushed my teeth and taken at least some simple stomach medicine he had on hand. He also helped me to change my clothes, putting me in some of his warmer ones, which I couldn't possibly complain about. I purred a little as I melted into his clothes on the bed, scenting the clothes as Chan smiled and observed. But he quickly left to go and get ready once I was settled.

Once I was curled up in the dark bedroom again, I fell back asleep to Chan's scent pretty quickly despite the little pain in my abdomen. Only dazedly waking up for a moment when I felt Chan kissing my forehead before he'd leave for work.
