chapter 8

Y/n pov

I was at my locker getting some books from it when I saw the wolves enter the school scaring the students in the hall. For some reason I wasn't scared than I usually would be when I saw new people. Just then Willa started scratching the students lockers and I was shocked, not by fear but some type of amusement which I didn't understand why.

Then the bell rang and the wolves howled while I smiled but my smile instantly fell when saw Bucky heading towards me (just pretend he is in this scene) and I was getting a bit worried of what he wanted this time, so I closed my locker and try to walk away as fast as I could but Bucky caught up to me and pulled me by the arm and dragged me to one side where nobody could see us. "Bucky can you just leave me alone I'm not in the mood for this" I said trying not to sound upset "no Addison told me what happened last night, you think you're so funny at putting up a act in front of my family just for attention" Bucky said to me in a slightly raised voice which made me flinch a bit "Bucky you know I would never do that to the Wells they are like family to me and I would never do something like that just to get their attention" I said while looking down at my feet trying not to make eye contact with him "they are not your family and never will be. your just some freak, do you understand?" Bucky said to me but I didn't reply so he came closer to me and I was getting more scared so I put my hands above my face but just then we heard growling

"Leave her alone!" someone said and bucky turned to see who it was and I removed my hands away from my face and I saw that the wolves was standing in front of us growling at Bucky. "Excuse me?" Bucky said looking at Willa "you heard her, she said leave her alone" Wynter said glaring at Bucky "and what if I don't?" Bucky said and wolves started to growl more and started to move closer to Bucky. Bucky then screamed and ran away leaving me with the wolves but I was still scared. "Are you okay?" Wynter asked putting her hand on my shoulder and I flinched "hey we're not going to hurt you okay" Willa said slowly coming closer towards me smiling "s..sorry and yeah I'm okay" I said putting on a fake smile "does he always treat you like that?" Wyatt ask looking at me with concern 'why do you have to be so cute' I thought "you could say that but it's a long story" I said looking down at the ground and the wolves look at me with concern "I should go, I have to meet Addison at the library, and umm thanks for your help" I said trying to get out of the situation and started to walking to the library

Wyatt pov

Me and the pack walked into the school and Willa along with rest of the pack started scaring some students "these sheep let us in, Baaad idea" Willa said "we agreed to play nice" I said to Willa "oh this is me been nice" Willa said and started to scratch the lockers "now let's find that moonstone" she said as we continue to walk. just then I spotted Y/n by her locker and I smiled not realizing that Willa and Wynter was looking at the direction I was staring at. "You like her don't you?" Wynter said smirking at me "w..what n..no I don't" I said stuttering "oh come on brother I saw how you looked at her when we got to this place, besides she seems sweet and better than the rest of these humans" Willa said smiling and I was shocked that Willa was willing to accept Y/n

"you're not mad?" I ask her "of course not you're my brother and I can tell she is not like the rest of these people I don't know why though I just have a feeling" Willa said and I smiled at her

Me and the pack went to the middle of the hall and the bell rang and we howled. The pack then separated from us as me, Willa and Wynter were about to walk away when I suddenly saw that Y/n was walking fast but then some guy just grabbed her and pulled her to a place where I couldn't see them. I look over at Willa and Wynter and saw that they saw the same thing "should we go after them? I have a bad feeling about this" Wynter asked and I nod because I had a bad feeling too "let's go" Willa said and we walk in the direction they went

When we got to the area that they are at, we hid behind the wall and peeked out slightly to see what was going on "Bucky you know I would never do that to the Wells they are like family to me and I would never do something like that just to get their attention" I heard Y/n say and I was a bit confused because I thought she and Addison were sisters "they are not your family and never will be your just some freak, do you understand?" the guy who I know now as Bucky said but Y/n doesn't respond "what does he mean freak? she looks normal like the rest of the kids in this school besides Addison" Wynter asked and me and Willa just shrugged. Just then we saw Bucky move closer and Y/n put her hands above her face looking scared and I was getting angry. "I think we should interfere now" I said trying to stay as calm as possible and Willa and Wynter nod in agreement

We walk towards them and growled "Leave her alone!" Willa shouted I could tell she was angry as well. Bucky turned around and Y/n removed her hands from her face to look at us I could tell she was on the verge of tears and I so badly wanted to run up to hug and comfort her "Excuse me?" Bucky said and I was starting to get a bit pissed off "you heard her, she said leave her alone" Wynter said and she glared at Bucky. "And what if I don't?" Bucky asked and at that we growled even more, starting to walk towards Bucky and he then screamed and ran away 'what a baby' I thought

I looked at Y/n who still looked really scared "are you okay?" Wynter ask placing her hand on Y/n's shoulder causing her to flinch and me and Willa look at each other with concern. "hey we're not going to hurt you okay" Willa said going to her slowly and smiling at her "s..sorry and yeah I'm okay"she said smiling at us but I could tell it was fake "does he always treat you like that?" I asked and I looked at her brown eyes with concern "you could say that but it's a long story" she said now looking at the ground and we look at her with even more concern and I was angry 'I'm going hunt that boy down if it's the last thing I do' I thought and Willa looks at me giving me a look that said 'calm down' and I sighed "I should go, I have to meet Addison at the library, and umm thanks for your help" Y/n said and started to walk away

When she left Willa put her hand on my shoulder and Wynter stands next to me "I worried too let's just keep an eye on her, okay?" Willa said and I gave a soft smile "I just wonder if she is always treated this way" I said "don't worry Wyatt we will protect her and I can already tell she will be an amazing friend to all the wolves" Wynter said and Willa nods. I sighed and we started walking to the library
