Y/n pov
~the next night~

The whole day I haven't left my room cause I was to sad about losing my friends. Addison stayed home and tried to cheer me up by getting my favorite fro-yo and doing my favorite things but I didn't budge.

It was now night time which meant it was going to be Prawn in couple of hours and Addison was getting ready in my room. "Are you sure you don't want to come?" Addison asked and I nod not saying a word

"come on n/n, it'll be fun and this would be our first Prawn together" Addison said trying to cheer me up "Addy I-" I said but she cut me off "just thinking about it okay" she said smiling at me before walking out of my room

I sighed not knowing what to do, so I went to the balcony to get some air. When I got to the balcony I spotted a letter by one of my flowers pots. I grabbed it and opened it.

Hey pup I know you're worried about us but just know we're okay. I also know tonight is Prawn and I want you to be happy, have fun and try not to think about the situation tonight. Just promise me you'll enjoy yourself and be your true self. See you soon

Wyatt🐾

I started to cry when I read the letter. I thought about Wyatt's words and how he really wanted me to go to Prawn and enjoy it. So I went back inside my room and to get changed.

I changed into a long black sleeved dress with a pair of white sneaker since I knew Addison was wearing a pair too. I also quickly curled my hair and tied a bit of hair to the back but in a way that you still could see my streak

I looked at the mirror and smiled as I took a deep breath. I was about to leave my room but stopped when I saw the moonstone necklace on my bed. I decided to take it with me putting it in the secret pocket in my dress and I headed downstairs.

When I went downstairs I saw Addison taking some photos with her parents and I smiled looking at them. "Got any room for one more photo?" I said and the Wells family turned around to look at me.

Addison shrieked with excitement as she came running towards me, pulling me into a hug while the Wells smiled at me. "You look gorgeous Y/n" Addison said once she let go of me "aww thanks Addy it means a lot" I said to her

"You really look stunning Y/n" Missy said hugging me then she looked at Dale "um,Y/n, can we talk real quick?" Dale asked and I nod slightly confused. Dale gestured me to the couch and I sat down while the Wells family sat across from me.

"So, Y/n, we've all been talking about this a lot lately and this is totally your decision to make but we've been wondering if you would like us to adopt you" Missy said and I looked at her in shock 'they want me in their family?' I thought

"A..are you for real?" I asked as tears started to fall down my cheek "of course we are n/n. You are already like a sister to me and my parents already see you as their daughter" Addison said and I began to cry with tears of happiness

"we already have the documents we just need your signature, that's why me and Missy have been gone a lot lately" Dale explains as he put the papers infront of me and I smiled at him "I will be honored for you to adopt me and to call you guys my family" I said as I took a pen and signed the paper

The Wells family cried as they all walk up to me, hugging me. "Thank you for everything" I said wiping my tears "aww sweetheart" Missy said kissing my forehead

"How about we take a family photo" Addison suggested and we all nod as Dale set the timer on the camera and we took a family photo. When we finished with that photo, we took photos of me and Addy in our prom outfits. I also took some photos with Missy and Dale before me and Addison headed to school for Prawn. I could only think one thing on the way there

'I finally have a real family'
