chapter 25

Y/n pov

Me and Wyatt caught up with the pack and Willa looked at me. "Y/n what are you doing here? It's dangerous" Willa asked "you really thought I was going to leave my friends in a dangerous situation by themselves" I said and Willa smiled at me "fine, let's keep going" she said

We continue to walk as the ground shook. "It's this way. I see the light it's coming from Seabrook Power" Willa said and we followed. Wyatt helped me over some rocks and we saw Willa go into some underground cave. (I don't know what to call it so I'm calling it a cave)

We went in and saw the moonstone "Here it is!" Willa said excitedly. The wolves then took off their necklaces and put it on the moonstone to charge. They all growled and I smiled seeing my friends return back to health.

Just then the ground shook even more and I look at them with concern. "We have to move it out of here" I said "legend says together, our pack can move the stone" Wyatt said

"All of us, lift!" Willa said and I took one side of the stone next to Wyatt to try and help lift it. We try to lift it but it was too heavy so we dropped it. "It's too heavy" Wynter said

"There's not enough of us" Willa said looking helpless "then maybe you have to expand your pack" Addison said as she came with the rest of Seabrook "Addison?" Willa said confused

"We came here to help" Addison explained "come on everyone, we got this!" Addison shouted trying to encourage everyone "right" Willa said as everyone gather around the moonstone grabbing a end of it

"Hurry, before it's too late!, together lift!" I shouted and everyone lifted and we were about to move it out of the cave, when the chamber collapsed blocking the exit. "The chamber's collapsed, we can't get the moonstone through" Wyatt explained "Wyatt, we can all see that" I said and he looked a bit embarrassed "right" he said

Just then Eliza came with an idea "your Z-band, it's still broken. Zed take it off. Lift the slab" Eliza said and Zed looked worried "Okay, Zed, you can do this" Eliza said "I'm not ready, what if I can't control it?" Zed said and I walked towards them

"Then I'll help you" I said and everyone expect Addison and William looked at me confused "How?" Zed asked "I have magic, that's how I was able to help William back at the Den when you hurt him" I said and everyone looked at me with shock.

While the wolves turn their attention to William who looked embarrassed "you knew!?" My wolf friends asked in unison "she told me to keep it a secret and I did what she asked" William admitted. Then the ground shook again this time even worse and I knew we had very little time left

"Zed, we have to do this" I said and he looked at me then at everyone around us. Zed took off his Z-band and started to zombie out, I could tell he was trying to control it as he roared . "Yes!" Wynter said excitedly

"Come on, you can do this" Addison said encouraging her boyfriend. That seems to have worked cause Zed went to the slab trying to lift it but I could see him struggling. 'Come on, you can do this you've been practicing. it's now or never' I thought and I walked over to Zed

I closed my eye focusing on my magic then I opened them and my eyes glowed green. I lifted my hands as they glowed blue and the slab started to glow blue as well. Zed roars and I screamed a bit as the slab started to open.

"Hurry!, I don't know how much longer we can hold it!" I shouted and everyone carried the moonstone outside the cave. I saw Zed couldn't hold much longer and I knew what I had to do. "I'm sorry Zed!" I shouted and pushed Zed out of the cave before the slab dropped again.

I could feel my energy draining from me and I collapsed to the ground. I was about to black out when I saw a small blue glow in my pocket. It was the moonstone necklace I took it out and held it in my hand then suddenly everything went black

Wyatt pov

We got the moonstone out of the cave when suddenly the slab collapsed again. "Oh, no!" Everyone shouted "Zed!/ Y/n!" addison and I shouted in unison as we made our way through the crowd to look back at the cave.

We all looked at the cave hoping they made it out when we heard a beeping sound and saw a green light coming from the fog of dust. It was Zed but I noticed Y/n wasn't with him. "Zed!, are you okay?, where's Y/n?" Addison asked and Zed looked at her sadly

"She pushed me out before the slab collapsed" Zed said sadly and I started to cry after hearing that. I felt arms around me and I saw it was Wynter and Willa and they had tears in their eyes too 'I never even got to tell her, she was my mate' I thought

"No, no!" Addison shouted as she try to run back to the cave but Zed stopped her. "Let go of me Zed! That's my sister! I can't lose her!" Addison shouted through tears and Zed pulled her into a hug. While everyone else started to cry. Suddenly we heard a voice coming from the cave

"Why's everyone crying?"
