The first thing Jisung realized the
next morning was that he felt awful.

Like, really awful.

Minho could only grumble
unhappily when his mate freed
himself out of his embrace rather
roughly before stumbling directly
into their bathroom, leaving a trace
of his scent that had turned sour.

"...Sungie?"

But the only answer he got was
the sound of someone retching
and coughing which immediately
alarmed him.

Tears were already running down
the younger's chubby cheeks as
he threw up the last remaining
bits of his dinner the day before
when Minho knelt down beside
him to tie his quite long bangs
into a little apple hair ponytail
and to rub his back.

"Let it all out, love.
Once it's out, it won't bother
your stomach anymore, hm?"

All he could do was embrace them
in his calming scent, releasing
some alpha pheromones to take
some tension from his little
omega and make him feel safe.

It was weird, even Jisung didn't
know why he was feeling this bad.

He hadn't eaten anything strange
the day before nor had he drunk
any alcohol, the only reason he
could find was that his heat was
right around the corner.

But he had never been one to get
sick when his body was preparing,
he'd only feel a little more exhausted
and weak before and during his heat.

"Should I make you some tea?
It should settle your tummy and
once it feels a little less restless,
I can prepare some plain
rice for you"

Minho spoke softly as he cupped
his mate's chubby cheeks when
Jisung was done, wiping his tears
and taking a piece of toilet paper
to wipe his mouth.

It'd never not break the
orange-haired alpha's heart to
see those pretty chocolate-brown
doe eyes glistening with tears.

His mate was cheeky,
wild and full of life,
seeing him like this,
so small and full of misery,
was just painful.

The little omega only nodded
and sniffled softly, leaning into
the gentle touch of his mate.

He tightly held onto Minho's arm
for support when tried to stand up,
his legs felt like jelly from the sudden
overly exhausting procedure so he
was thankful that the alpha had one
arm around his waist to hold him.

"Slowly Sungie,
I don't want you to fall"

The orange-haired male reminded
him when Jisung almost stumbled
over his own foot.

It felt like forever until they
finally reached their bed again
and Minho smiled softly when
his omega immediately curled
up under the blanket that
smelled like his mate.

"Tea?"

"Yes please."

It turned out to be a one time thing,
at least for that day.

Jisung stayed in bed all day,
drinking tea, sleeping, later
eating a bit of rice and cuddling
with his mate while watching Ponyo.

Yes, his mostly black clothes,
piercings and sometimes quite
heavy makeup often led to the
false conclusion that he liked
scary horror movies and stuff
but in reality he preferred
documentary movies and
Ghibli animes.

Especially now that he was
feeling a little off, he was just
a baby who wanted to watch
his comfort movie to get
distracted from the angry
gurgles in the pit of his stomach.

And Minho didn't comment on it,
he enjoyed those times when his
omega would actually long for
affection, Jisung wasn't normally
a cuddle bug but the alpha was.

He knew that this was the younger's
way to show that he trusted him.

If he dared to address it,
he'd just ruin it because the
omega would become
embarrassed about himself.

He had never liked to show
his vulnerable side, not even
to his alpha.

This was just how Jisung was
and Minho loved him nonetheless,
he was his sweet little omega after all.

The orange-haired alpha smiled
softly down at the sleeping boy
in his arms before leaning down
to place a gentle peck on his forehead,
chuckling when the younger one only
twitched his black furry ears cutely.

He had already dozed off after
about one third of the movie so
he badly needed the rest, he'd
never willingly miss parts of
his favorite childhood movie.

"Sleep well, Sungie.
I hope you'll feel better soon,
my love."
