The moment Felix arrived at the front door of Jisung's and Minho's apartment, the orange-haired alpha was already waiting there with a worried look on his face.
His heart dropped even further at the sight of his lovely mate almost slumped against his friend, his eyes shut and furry ears pressed against his hair from the pain.
"Sungie."
"M-min.."
Jisung almost cried out and made grabby hands at his mate like a little child who had lost their momma in the aisles of a supermarket.
"Shh it's okay, you're okay. I've got you, I'm here.. Thank you Felix for bringing him home."
The freckled omega one nodded with a frown on his face, he hated to see his best friend like this.
Especially since he partly knew how it felt.
"Rest well, okay Ji? Text me when you feel better, here's your bag."
Jisung didn't even look up, he had his face buried in his alpha's chest and his arms were weakly wrapped around Minho's waist to steady himself.
But Felix didn't take it personally, he only gave the orange-haired alpha a worried smile before he turned around to leave.
He knew they needed some alone time now.
When Jisung didn't make any attempts to move at all, Minho carefully picked him up under his thighs to carry him to their bedroom, already knowing that his little omega needed sleep and his alpha's cuddles.
"Min.. I don't feel good.."
"I know, love. It'll get better once-"
"No, bathroom please.."
The older male immediately changed his direction and hurried to the bathroom when he realized the urgency of his mate's words.
They were right in time, Minho hadn't even placed the omega completely on the floor when Jisung already leaned over the toilet, a weak gag escaping him.
Tears were already brimming in his eyes when his stomach gurgled angrily again and his alpha could only rub his back gently and hold his hair when the younger gagged again.
He was tired, he didn't want to do this.
His breakfast soon found its way into the toilet and Minho couldn't help but wonder if it would be a good idea to bring Jisung to a doctor.
The past week since his heat had started he had lost so much weight already, it was scary.
And the little omega was getting weaker, even if he pretended to feel better so his alpha wouldn't behave like a mother hen.
But Minho's worry was reasonable, wasn't it?
It was, Jisung didn't feel better even after his heat had passed.
In fact the whole situation was also affecting him a lot mentally.
He had never been one liking to draw a lot of attention to himself, he hated being dependent on his alpha only because he was an omega.
So Minho having to care for him all day, doing everything for him and treating him like a queen just made him feel useless.
He wanted to do things on his own and he didn't want to burden anyone but his stupid wolf had to cry for his alpha every time Minho even dared to leave the house.
"Sungie?"
But the little omega didn't budge, he didn't even look up when his mate sat down beside him.
He only stared emotionless at the wall, jumping slightly and pulling his arm away when Minho carefully touched it.
"What's wrong?"
Again, no reaction.
"Do you want to sleep? I'll leave you alone then."
Taking Jisung's silence as a yes, the orange-haired alpha only sighed softly before he stood up again to leave the bedroom.
If his mate didn't want company, he wouldn't annoy him.
Although the younger's behavior slightly hurt Minho, he knew that it wouldn't help to address Jisung about it.
He just needed time, he'd come back to his alpha once he felt better.
Hopefully.
The little omega sighed softly when he heard the door close and hugged his pillow closer, closing his eyes to prevent the tears that were already forming.
He just wanted to feel better, he didn't want to hurt his mate with his stupid behavior anymore.
But what they both didn't know yet, things would get far more complicated than they were now.
