"We're here. Are you ready? Because I'm absolutely not."
Jisung could only chuckle at his mate who was about to pass away on the driver's seat, he was a nervous wreck.
"Why are you so scared of them? They're the best parents in the world. But yeah, I'm a little scared too because.. Yeah."
The little omega looked down at his slightly bulging tummy, their pup had grown a lot the past two weeks so if you knew he was expecting, you could tell.
Of course Jisung had put his baggiest shirt on but to him it was absolutely obvious.
"Sungie, they love you. They'll only kill me for touching their baby, you don't have to be scared"
Minho smiled and leaned over to kiss his mate's chubby cheek, chuckling when the younger one only whined unhappily.
"Let's go before I change my mind and drive back home."
While Jisung peeled himself out of the car, the alpha got their luggage so his mate didn't have to lift or carry anything.
They'd stay at the Jisung's parents' house for two days if they wouldn't get kicked out but Minho was already speculating that he'd probably have to sleep in the garden so his omega could sleep on two mattresses for maximum comfort.
"Baby! My little baby, come to mommy!"
A middle-aged woman practically ripped the door open to run to her son and almost made Jisung fall by engulfing him in a tight hug.
"Hi mommy!"
"Hey darling, look at you! Have you eaten well? Your cheeks aren't as chubby as they used to be"
Yoohyeon pouted as she cupped her son's face, squishing the jeekies making Jisung pout too like a tiny duckling.
"Did Minho let you starve again?"
"Mom!"
"Hey bub, come give mom a big hug, hm?"
The little omega immediately let go of his mommy to hug his mom tightly, being careful with his belly though.
"My boy got so big, he even got a new piercing"
Siyeon chuckled and placed a kiss on her son's head as she rubbed his back gently.
Meanwhile Minho just stood there a little helplessly with all the luggage, waiting for someone to notice him too.
"Oh hey darling, give me one of the bags and let's get inside, I made some cake for my favorite boys"
Yoohyeon muttered excitedly as she grabbed the bigger bag from Minho and hugged him shortly with her free arm.
She had always liked Minho, he was nice, kind, treating Jisung very well and truly loving him.
It was actually her wife who had a tiny problem with the alpha.
It wasn't that she didn't like him, he was the perfect son-in-law and there was no one else she'd choose over him as Jisung's mate, it was more that she didn't want her son to have a mate at all.
Siyeon had always been a very protective alpha over her family, especially over her son.
Jisung was her baby, her everything, he had always been.
And he'd always be, no mate was good enough in her opinion for her baby.
So she was sometimes quite intimidating to the poor orange-haired alpha, making sure he knew that he was mated to the most precious human being ever and that he should treat Jisung that way if he wanted to live.
"Come on, the cake is waiting and I know my baby wants something sweet"
Jisung's mommy laughed and pinched her son's chubby cheek as she passed him but fortunately his mom was there to slap her wife's hand away and to place an apologizing kiss on the red spot.
Minho just followed Yoohyeon like a lost little duckling with their luggage, looking helplessly at his mate but Jisung only winked at him.
A banana cheesecake was waiting for them on the dining table when they reached the living room and the little omega's eyes immediately began to sparkle at the sight of the sweet treat.
His parents just knew how to spoil their baby, unknowingly also spoiling their grandbaby like this.
"Mom, mommy, you're the best! I missed your cheesecake so much!"
Jisung was on the verge of crying when he took the first bite and again Minho could only wonder how his oh so emo mate was actually such a baby.
"Enjoy your cake, baby. Eat as much as you want."
