Ocean sky, milky clouds and raindrop tears. everything was a blur in (Y/N)'s world, the pain in her head and the clenching of her heart helped with nothing at all, it just made her fall deeper and deeper into her subconscious. At this point, she almost wanted nothing but to dive in the vast, dark uncertain. The void. But she held onto her life, praying to herself and begging the devil within to hold her hands, to keep her steady and out of this insanity.
Hanma, who was standing from the other side of the door slowly twisted the knob and peeked, hoping to see the girl's improvement, but he was received with her still in her previous spot, the same spot he had left herthree days ago. he entered, trying to act tough as he walked closer, all while her mumblings of "please . . . Matheo." and "don't"s grew clearer and clearer.
Picking up the tray of untouched food from the bedside, he suddenly sighed loudly, "fuck it." before dropping it back to its place and plopping onto the mattress to scoop the woman onto his arms. "get up." his voice, commanding. she did not budge. "get . . .UP" he was persistent, pulling her up only for the woman in to limp and slide out of his hold like some worm crawling out of a tight spot.
He stilled, annoyed. "why are you like this?" he asked as if the answer was not being clear enough to him.
and as if a brain dead zombie, (Y/N) responded. ". . . Matheo" if the loneliness of her state wasn't enough to answer him, then her voice did. it was a whisper of a beg, almost sounding as if crying.
