Sitting alone,
Surrounded at all sides by the idiots who made you,
The people who taught you to be hateful,
The people who are hateful themselves, unknowingly hurting you in the process
The people who hate them, not you, but you ARE them
The people who don't understand,
they were never taught- but it still hurts
The people who are the reason you have issues expressing yourself,
The people who unknowingly break you with words directed at others
The people who think you're weird and different from the norm
The people who think you are wrong for how you like to dress or look
The people who don't understand that people make mistakes
The people who yell at you for things they do themselves
The people who yell at you or others for having an opinion
The people who have to drag everyone down with them
The people who blow their top over little things
The people who you still love because you have grown up with them
The people who make up your family
A split family
A family that isn't there
A family who doesn't seem to care
A family who doesn't seem to love you
A family you wish to leave behind one way or another
As you sit in the passenger's seat, getting yelled at for an inconvenience,
You stare at the open window longingly, but you don't leave, not yet
As the vehicle comes to a stop in his driveway,
The facade goes up
She smiles , apologizes, and tries to justify her actions

A mother who doesn't care,
A sister who doesn't care,
And me who cares too much
