Hi, alerayve here! It's been a while. I just want you to read the following important reminders before you proceed to the first chapter. I hope you'll read it to heart and enjoy the story as much as I do when I was writing it. It will be highly appreciated if you'll remember the stuff I indicated below. Thank you!
Is this a new story?
__Nope. This is still Quinzel de Agustin's story. Kung naabutan po ninyo, ang unang title nito ay The Ties of the Red Ribbon. Ang pangalawa ay The Earring's Curse. Then, it was The Silent Curse. Yes, I've been changing its title for a while since I can't seem to find the most fitting one for a complex story. But now I will promote it as The Montelier Bride.
Is this a part of a series?
__No. However, the story is in the same universe as Alexandria's and Rieda's. Mapapansin ninyo na may mga familiar names dito and yes, sila rin po 'yong mga characters ko from other stories. Do you have to read them before you start this? Pwede. Pwede ring hindi. I recommend reading them, though, for a better reading experience. Malay ninyo may crossovers lol.
Bakit po naka-on ang Mature Content warning?
__Well, mature is mature. Please don't get me wrong. I put it on because there's a huge chance that there might be a very elaborate narrative about violence and gruesome scenes. (Pwede ring may SPG as in SPG sa mga berde but oh well. HAHAHA!) Compared to my first characters, Quinzel and Caesar are over 20 years old so there's that~
Same timeline po ba sila ng story nina Alex at Rieda?
__Definitely not but they did meet at some point. At the beginning of Mhorfell Academy of Gangsters, Alex mentions Rieda as a friend she once met abroad. Since Alex has just come of age when Rieda is already working for the Phoenix Organization, you can say that Rieda is a little older than Alex. How did they meet Quinzel? It's still a secret, so read it! But I can tell you that Quinzel and Rieda met even before Derek comes in and before Quinzel leaves her past.
Maiiba po ba ang story na 'to dahil na-post ulit?
__Nope. Same pa rin ng plot. I just re-arranged some scenes na tingin ko ay medyo mahirap at may butas sa una pa lang. I kind of struggled to find my old style of writing again but I found it while editing The Onyx Council's manuscript so it took me longer to pick this one up. Sorry again! Kung alam niyo lang araw-araw na pagpapaalala ng admin ko about this story, nako :<
Bakit po lagi itong naa-unpublish at napopost ulit?
__Hmm. I'm going to be honest, tricky ang story na 'to for me. Siguro dahil mas involved ang romance genre rito (which I bet you know na hindi ko forte since hopeless romantic lang din po ako rito na NBSB). And siguro kasi mas komplikado ang buhay ni Quinzel kaysa kina Alex at Rieda. Alex's problems root in bloodlines. Rieda's concerns root in finally stepping outside the box. Quinzel's worries will come from all directions.
