The room was settled
by an atmosphere
of guilt
under a cloud of
masquerade happiness
with pain hiding in the hearts.
Tears broken by the ache.
Tissue given out of understanding.
Felt strange by the insecurities
built in
Untouched by their love.
Taken by a wing,
and flown away
up in the clouds
in a castle of finally safe,
finally home.
