Coping With Loss

As a few of you may know, I recently lost someone very close to me and I thought I'd write this to sort of let it go a little.

How each character copes/reacts with loss  and helps you cope

Cordelia Goode

Her loss•Surrounds herself with people she loves•Clingy •Cries a lot but heals quickly •But really annoying•before she gets in a state, she asks everyone else if they're okay first•Asks you to stay in bed with her all day

•She only knows she won't see them again
•The only loss she dealt with before was her parents but it was iffy so she was never sure
•After you explain it, she's strong for a few days
•Then there's tears. Lots of Tears
•Just wants to be held for a few weeks and then she's okay again

Your loss
•Doesn't understand why you're upset really
•She just knows you are
•Although she doesn't get it, she keeps you warm
•Takes time from work to stay with you
•Attends the funeral with you and then gets it
•Cries at the funeral as much as you just because she know understand the concept

•Finally becomes at peace with the situation
•After that, you sometimes find her crying but only barely

•Tries to give you space by just leaving and freaking you out
•Finally answers the phone and comes home when she finds out that's not what you wanted
•Stays with you a while
•Is not sure if you should go to work the next day but she can't stop you
•Comes home early to find you crying in bed

•Really gentle with you for the next few months
•Major part of your healing process
