Arnav reached home, it's very dark and looks like no one is at home..putting his car key on the side table.. He turned on the lights..

'khushiii... Are you home'

No reply..

After checking kitchen and living room, he entered their bedroom, just to find his wife is sleeping covering herself in a duvet.. Without making any noise he went to get fresh.. After coming from washroom he found her awake...

'hey, you woke up..'

'yeah.. When did you come.?'

'few minutes ago.. Why were you sleeping at this hour?.. Are you ok, you look sick.. '

No reply

He sat on the bed and touched her for head..

'you are warm.. Do you have fever?' he touched her cheek..
She slightly ditouched herself from him and said while getting up from the bed
'I am fine.. Umm.. Did you have dinner.. Let me warm food..'

'it's OK khusi.. You rest.. I will warm the food..'

' I am fine..' she said little strongly..

He just nodded his head..

Khushi was extremely silent during dinner..So,Arnav tried to pick up a conversation..

' khushi I was thinking if you are sick, we should not be going to Di's anniversary tomorrow..'

' I am absolutely fine Arnav ji and Di will be really upset if we don't go..'

' but you have fever..'

' I am OK..' she said while picking up the dishes..

' leave it, I will do.. '

' I will put it on dishwasher.. '

' still leave and rest, I will manage and please take a Tylenol, if you really want to go tomorrow .. '
Like an obident child she took the medicine and left for the bedroom.. He looked at her retired figure..
Within two months they are going to complete two years of their marriage but still sometimes it feels like she is a stranger and little a lof from him and sometimes it feels like she is the most wonderful thing ever happened to him.. She is a blessing his late mother sent from heaven.. Her father Shasi Gupta was his nani's best friend's brother and few years back during his Delhi visit he saw her at a puja in his nani's place and his heart almost skipped a bit seeing this beautiful girl, he was having hard time to take his eyes off from her . Understanding his condition, his sister Anjali proposed the idea of marriage to their Nani and before they could have understand anything they were married..

At first Arnav thought she left her parents in India and started a new life with him in New York, probably thats why she is little disturb, though with time she got free with him but still she is nothing like what he heard about her from her Bua.. Her bua called her 'sankadevi' who is always smiling and doing pranks.. Total crazy. Expect very few incidents he never felt like that.. With him she is mature, sweet, caring,Loving...Chain of Arnav's thoughts broke with a phone notification ... After done with the dishes, he called the day off and went for sleeping..

' khushiii.. You wanted to go early and now you are not ready.. What is this??' he shouted from living room..

'5 minutes please..' she replied from bedroom

' from 1 hour, you are saying same..' he sighed..

' ufffoo Arnav ji.. So impatient you are.'
