Microchips. They were the key to everything. Nowadays, almost every machine contains a microchip. The motors in newer cars, computers, cell phones, radios, televisions, etc. they all have microchips. Someone must have created some kind of super virus and uploaded it onto to the internet, while at the same time sending the code through the cell towers so that it infected the cars, cell phones, and other devices that aren't hooked up to the internet. It was at that moment that I realize things would only get worse before they were going to get better. After all, who knows how big this virus has spread? It could be statewide or half of the eastern part of North America, just like it did a few years ago, it could even be global. After all, who knows what the creator of this virus' motives were. It was then that I realized that what I was doing was only speculating, not actually find concrete proof. That's why it was time to do some investigating and find out just how widespread this blackout really is. So getting out my shortwave radio, I begin the long process of trying to get in touch with my contacts.
