After the incident with Ace I had lost my want to party and enjoy myself, in fact all I wanted to do was go home. Ronan had talked me into staying, reminding me that today was about Tahlia and Chris he also promised we'd stay clear of the club which was something I'm hoping was achievable. I was sat at a table near the bar, hidden away in the corner as I waited for Ronan to come back. He'd gone to get us some drinks but from the corner of my eye I could see he'd been stopped by Lily. I couldn't help the jealousy that flared up, burning away at my chest as if it wasn't going to stop until I got up and interrupted but I knew how stupid it would be to do so.

Instead I sat here, glancing over every now and then wondering what on earth they could be talking about. I was also doing the occasional scan of the room, picking out club members so I knew which way not to go if I needed the bathroom. Chris and Tahlia were walking around talking to their guests probably thanking them for coming. John was talking to Chris parents and I had no idea where the rest of Tahlias family were. Cain had just entered the room and was searching it before his eyes landed on me, they lit up with excitement before he rushed towards me.

I sat a little straighter, quickly looking over my shoulder to see if Ronan and Lily were still talking to one another. Ronan had actually made it to the bar except Lily was still glued to his side talking to him with an awe filled look like he'd put the stars in the sky himself. I bit down on the inside of my cheek, trying to keep hold of whatever patience I had left after today. I can't wait. I was trying to convince myself that it was nothing and that Lily was just being nice but I remembered the look on her face when Ronan had come into the bridal suite this morning, it made me burn.

"Jesus crack a smile would ya?" I snapped out of my trance, frowning up at Cain as he pulled the chair out beside me. I hadn't seen him at the ceremony earlier, I actually wasn't sure he was going to make it today even though he'd been invited but I knew better of course Cain would never miss an open bar.

"Where have you been?" I asked, finally smiling at him. He looked over his shoulder, his eyes quickly scanning the room before he shrugged his shoulders and returned his focus onto our conversation.

"Ace gave me some work today, took s little longer than I thought it would." I just nodded in response, I wanted nothing to do with the club or whatever it was they were up to. "Where's Ronan?"

I sighed, using my thumb to point behind me. "At the bar." Cain smirked as his eyes looked behind me, clearly realising what I had been looking at when he'd arrived.

"Are you jealous Ava?" He goaded, shoving at my good leg. I swatted at his hands, frowning because he was right. I was jealous, I wanted Ronan to be sat here drinking with me while I gave him looks filled with lust not Lily.

"Yes." I muttered, keeping my eyes trained on my hands as I avoided Cains reaction. I didn't have to look at him to know he was laughing, I could hear it.

"Damn." He breathed. "Things must be serious between you two I don't think you ever looked at Steph like that." My head shot up sharply and he sank back into his seat. "Sorry."

"What did you do now Cain?" Ronans voice joined us and I instantly broke out into a smile, looking up at him as he leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. He'd used his free hand to tilt up my face, drawing me towards him. His lips were soft against mine, his beard slightly tickling me but I didn't mind. All the tension that had built up in my body suddenly disappeared and I felt more relaxed than before. He winked at me as he pulled away, my cheeks heating even though I was fighting away a smile.

"Finally got away from your side chick." Cain commented with a chuckle, I shot him a look and the smile dropped from his face. "Sorry, just joking."

Ronan laughed and I glared at him beside me. He'd pulled out the chair next to me but didn't look no where near as terrified as Cain had when I'd glared at him. "Lily has nothing on Ava." Ronan told him, completely ignoring me. "So yeah that's a funny joke Cain." He finally looked at me, a smirk toying with his lips and I rolled my eyes even though once again I was fighting another smile. "I got you some vodka and coke." He pointed to the glass in front of me on the table.
