Why do we squander the precious time we're given,
When we've made a vow to live our lives driven?
All we have is now, so let's cherish every day,
And not waste our moments, not let time slip away.
Remember the laughter and joy we've shared,
And the memories we've made, one by one paired.
Let's hold onto the time we've spent together,
And cherish those moments forever and ever.
Death comes when we least expect it, it's true,
And life is never fair, no matter what we do.
But as we fall asleep, we know,
That we'll wake up to another day's glow.
