Thy heart is pure, a stream doth gently run
And thine eyes shine like the sun in the sky
My love for thee shall ne'er be undone
For in thy presence I shall never die
Shall I tell thee of my burning heart's desire?
A flame that flickers with each beat, so bright
That even the stars seem to pale and expire
In the presence of thy radiant light.
Oh, how my soul doth yearn for thee,
As the ocean yearns for the shore.
In thy embrace, I long to be,
Forevermore and more.
The winds may change and the tides may turn,
But our love for each other shall forever burn.
