Normal P.O.V:

Bubble paces back and fourth around the waiting room as Pen, Needle, Coiny and Gelatin sit on the chairs just as worried about Firey as their soapy friend is.

Pen: Bubble it'll be alright, Dr. Fizz is one of the best doctors of this hospital. Firey's in good hands.

Gelatin: She has every right to be worried, as do I. He saved me and for that he's the one hurt.

Bubble: Don't beat yourself up Gelatin, Firey would've done that for any of us.

Coiny: ... Dibs on his stuff if he doesn't make it!

Needle elbows him hard.

Coiny: OW!

Needle: This is serious! 

Coiny: You're right, I'm sorry.

Pin then walks into the waiting room to meet the others.

Gelatin: You done taking your anger out on Blocky, I presume?

Pin: Yeah, so how is he?

Needle: We don't know yet, they're still checking him.

Pin: WHAT? What kind of doctors do they have here if it takes them this long to find out if someone survived a car hit!?

Gelatin: Pin calm down! Firey is of a rare and biologically very complicated species, with their intangibility and lacking more vital organs or bones than any other object type on Earth it's gonna be hard to examine a sentient fire for major injuries.

Pin: *sigh* You're right Gelatin, I overreacted a bit there...

Minutes after Pin sat down with the others a red and white aluminum soda can wearing a doctor's uniform and holding a clip board walks though the doors and turns toward the group.

Pen: Give it to us straight Doc, is he going to be okay?

Dr.Fizz: Well your friend is very lucky to have survived, however he seems to have suffered serious head trauma and is currently in a comatose state, he's alive but... he won't be waking up anytime soon.

Pin: I see, thank you Doctor.

Dr.Fizz: Does he have any parents or family members we should contact for updates?

The group look to each other for a bit.

Needle: Uhh, not really... 

Bubble: He lost his father to a flood and he's an only child.

Pin then write something on a sticky note and gives it to the doctor.

Pin: Since I live the closest to him out of all of us just call me if anything else happens.

Dr.Fizz: Sure thing ma'am, you six have a good day now.

Two weeks later Pin sits by her phone waiting for calls when she reacts to it vibrating, after checking she sees it's just a text from her boyfriend Coiny, y'know what? With everything happening she could use his dumb sense of humor to cheer her up a little.

Coiny (text): hey Pin, what you up to?

Pin (text): not much, what about you?

Coiny (text): Not much either, actually um don't get mad at me but...

Pin (text): Coiny... what did you do?

Coiny (text): Well even though you told me not to, I looked through Firey's stuff (not to take anything!) and I found something a little interesting and random.

Pin (text): What did you find?

Coiny (text): well I'm not really sure how to put it to texts, you're gonna have to get over here and see for yourself.
