[DIA] The Flame and The Leaf

Prom Day

Normal P.O.V:

The school Prom had finally arrived, both Firey and Leafy got ready in their respective rooms after putting on her dress Leafy examines a bottle of something called "perfume" that Lollipop recommended her, she then sprays on her pits but then makes the mistake of spraying it in her mouth causing her to gag.

Leafy: *sniff sniff* *GAG GAG GAG*

Meanwhile Firey was adjusting his tux and eats a mint. He was the first to finish and waits outside Leafy's bedroom door with a flower, finally Leafy steps out donning a dark green elegant gown with long sleeves laced with violet patterns, she also wore a flower clip on her head. Firey's flames grew brighter was he saw her.

Leafy: Um how do I look?

Firey: Wow... y-you're beautiful. Oh uh- Here, for you.

Firey hands her a flower corsage which she puts on her wrist.

Leafy: I love it, thank you. 

The two go down the hall into the living room when they hear the door knock, Leafy then goes to answer.

Leafy: That must be the sitter. 

Bomby: Hi there! I'm here to babysit. 

Leafy: ... One moment. You got Bomby as the sitter!?

Firey: I couldn't find anyone else available. Besides, Bomby said he's good with kids what's the worst that can happen?

Leafy: I'll tell you the worst that can happen, an explosion!! 

Firey: Oh

Bomby knocks on the door again and Leafy reopens it.

Leafy: Uhh.. Bomby I appreciate your willing to help but are you sure you want to look after Junior for us? He's a fire just like Firey and well..

Bomby: Yeah Firey told me ahead, he's tiny. I can take of him. Don't even worry and go over to the prom.

Leafy: Okay then if you say so... C'mon Firey.

Bomby: Have fun! 

Bomby closes the door behind Firey and leafy as they leave and immediately notices the kin standing in front of him starring. 

Bomby: Hey there kiddo, I'm Bomby and I'll be spending time with you while Mom and Dad are away.

Firey Jr: Wow, you're big. Are you strong too?

Bomby: Yep. Do you want to play some games?

Firey Jr: Yeah!

The little flame rushes over to a shelf and gets out a Mario Maker game.

Firey Jr: Let's make some levels!

Back With Leafy and Firey they park at the school gym and meet with their friends inside. Coiny, Pin, Needle and Bubble stand by the punch bowl and soon greet Firey and Leafy upon notice.

Needle: Hey guys. You both look great!

Firey: Thanks, you all look nice too.

Leafy: Wow, there's so many people here...

Pin: Leafy are you nervous?

Leafy: No. Okay somewhat, I've never been to these things before. What if I make myself look bad?

Firey: Don't worry about that, just have some fun.

Coiny: Yeah, plus there's good grub here.

Coiny pours himself a cup of fruit punch only to spit it out.

Coiny: AUGH-! *cough cough* poot-poot poot!

Pin: Coiny, are you alright?

Coiny: ALRIGHT, WHO SPIKED THE PUNCH WITH HOT SAUCE!?

Blocky in the distance snickers quietly to himself, meanwhile a female student steps up to the turn table pressing a button on her chest.

Microphone: Hello Dream Island Academy! I am Microphone and I will be your DJ for this year's DIA Prom, now let's drop some epic beats!!

The DJ places a cd on the turntable playing a song all too familiar to Leafy which gets her very excited.

Leafy: OH MY ZEN I KNOW THIS SONG! C'mon Firey! 

Firey: Woah- ok, I guess we're doing this now.

She grabs Firey's arm and rushes to the dance floor with him as the others happily laugh. As the two energetically dance together with 'Safe and Sound' playing the attention of just about everyone is grabbed to the happy couple.

Book: Wow look at them go.

Ice Cube: Yeah, they look so happy.

Cheesy: *whispers* You know that the lady is top when she leads. ;)

OJ: (wtf Cheesy?)

The party goes on for a couple more hours up until the music goes to a quiet pause and Donut comes up on the stage.

Donut: Testing, testing.. Okay.. *ahem* Good evening fellow students, I hope we've all had an excellent prom experience thus far. But what's a prom without the initial crowing of the king & queen?

He then reveals two shining crowns as the crowd of students cheer.

Leafy: Proms have a king & queen?

Firey: Yep, two people are crowned each year.

Donut: The votes are in, the king and queen of this year's DIA Prom are...

The room darkens as a loud drumroll plays out and two spotlights move all over the place.

Donut: Firey and Leafy!!!

Firey & Leafy: :O

Crowd: *various cheers*

Needle: Way to go you two!

Donut: Get up here you two.

Leafy and Firey go up the stage and are each given a crown and sash, Leafy is also given a bouquet of flowers. The whole prom continue to cheer for the flame and leaf congratulating them for becoming king and queen of the prom.
