Regina, engrossed in her comedy film, was interrupted by a knock on her door. Pausing the movie, she found herself face to face with Diego, the attractive single dad from next door.
''Hey, what's up?'' she greeted him.
''Hi, Gina. I'm sorry to bother you, but could you please babysit Andrea tonight?'' Diego asked with a sweet smile.
Andrea, Diego's 3-year-old daughter, stood by his side.
''Yeah, sure. Did anything happen?'' Gina inquired, even though she had watched Andrea frequently before, never really getting to know Diego.
''I'm going on a date with my colleague, and the babysitter canceled a few minutes ago,'' he explained.
Although Regina was a bit sad that Diego was going on a date, she enjoyed looking after Andrea, who was fond of her.
''Okay, no problem, dude.''
''God, I wouldn't know what I'd do without you, angel. I love you,'' Diego uttered as he hugged Regina.
However, the love he felt for her wasn't reciprocated in the same way.
