Isabella's face erupted into a radiant grin. ''Okay, but only if you see her when she's all pretty. 'Cause sometimes people don't see.''
''She's always pretty,'' James assured, feeling a blush creep up as he scratched the back of his neck.
''But you gotta tell her,'' Isabella continued, offering sagacious advice, ''and maybe pick her some flowers too, 'cause it makes her happy when I do that.''
