After finding out your were pregnant the news soon went to your father and sister, In which Candace was shocked but also very happy for you, but you made the decision to withhold this information from spreading in the kingdom for now so it was only within the palace, the royal doctor had made you medicine to help your fever and restore your usual health, in which you took It every day and saw many Improvements In your health but the one thing the medicine couldn't heal was your broken heart, your heart was broken for yourself and your child since Cyno was no longer here to be with you especially now, but you promised to be strong 

you started eating regularly again, and you felt so much better as It had been a few days since then but the doctor advised you to stop eating certain foods, such as tea and or fishy dishes as they weren't good for the baby so you bared that In mind as you changed your diet 

you were currently within the Palace temple, and you put together a memorial for Cyno to be kept In there and also per your father's order there was a few days of mourning for him and though his body wasn't recovered there was a formal funeral held, with the rites of a Prince 

but the war was still going on at the front, with Al Haitham as the new General of the Royal armies but as of late the war reports were not good at all and it seemed the tides had turned for the worst, and in the favor of the Kingdom of Snezhnaya,

you prayed to Lesser Lord Kusanali asking her to watch over Cyno's comrades and to also yourself and the baby, everyone thought you'd blame Lesser Lord Kusanali for failing to protect Cyno but you weren't like that at all and you knew even some things were out of her hands

you bowed low just as another Padisarah flower appeared, and you took It into your hands as you then placed It into your hair, you then stood up as you started leaving the temple as you decided to go sit for a while at the Lotus Pond as it was another calm place for you 

but once you got there you didn't expect to see Tighnari and Collei 

"Sir Tighnari, I'm sorry I didn't welcome you" you said

he shook his head, "It's alright princess, Collei and I came to see how you are...I can't believe Cyno's gone"

you nodded, "Nor I"

you then touched your stomach, just as Tighnari smiled "I heard the news floating around today In the palace, Congratulations on your pregnancy"

you smiled a little, "Thank you"

Collei walked up to you, "I'm so sorry about the Prince, will you be okay?"

"I will, please don't worry"

just then you started feeling tears come to your eyes, "no matter how much I might want to give up...I can't do that, I have to keep moving forward for Cyno and our child"

Tighnari nodded, "Indeed, I wish you and the child well please let me know I you ever need anything...you know, when the war preparations were starting Cyno made me promise to look after you should anything happen to him"

you were surprised, "he did?"

"Yes,"

a few tears fell from your eyes, "I see...you were his good friend after all" 

Tighnari came a little closer, and he gave your back as rub as you then started crying silently, with your hand coming to rest on your still flat stomach where your baby grew, 

"here, why don't you come outside to the gardens" he suggested 

you gave a nod, starting off with him and Collei as you went to the palace gardens In which you hadn't been there In a longtime now, and you then remembered Iris

"Tighnari"

"yes?"

you started to smile a little, "have you seen Iris around lately?"

Tighnari shook his head, "I'm afraid not"

you looked to the sky, "I see...then she's left as well"

once you came to the gardens you then asked to be alone, so Tighnari and Collei took their leave as you walked amongst the plants alone, and it seemed they'd lost their vibrant colors from before In which you thought that was a shame, just then you started having flashbacks to the day you first met Cyno In the gardens, you remembered his beautiful eyes even now though they were fierce at first but they softened every time he looked at you 

you sat on the edge of the fountain, thinking back on every moment you spent with him until the day he left for the war, your ring glimmered from the faint light as you saw your reflection but then it changed to his as you then tried holding back your tears.
