TW // Death

The sweet, summer rays of day,

Plastered like rainbows on your beautiful face.

It felt like watching the sun slowly rise,

And such a pretty gold did your skin indeed shine.

Your mellifluous voice filled the air,

As you pranced around the room without a care.

I still remember the lyrics to your little tune,

And forever will I hum it when I think of you.

The way you moved seemed so ethereal,

The way you danced to your song of spring,

The way you hugged me a little too tight,

How your eyes lit up in the presence of light

I've forever loved and cherished everything about you,

How you looked and everything you do,

How we danced to that classic song,

And the way you softly sang along.

As I held you close for one last time,

All my " Love yous' " and final goodbyes.

Your skin glowed one more time as the light rays of day,

Made patterns of rainbows with the tears on your face.

Even when you're gone, I'll faithfully wait,

For the day I get to see you again.

I still feel you sitting here next to me,

With iridescent glows sending away the gloomy rain.

Older and older, will I slowly grow,

But I'll forever keep your memories close,

You'd never be anything I'll ever forget,

For you're the most beautiful person I've ever met.
