Skip to the next morning. Alex wakes up naked in bed with Nick who is also naked. Nick is lying on Alex's chest. Alex slowly gets out of bed without waking Nick up. He puts on some clothes and walks down the stairs. His dad is in the kitchen. Alex goes to sit down opposite of him

Ale:    Dad

Jul:    hm?

Ale:    Nick

Julio puts down the paper and looks at Alex

Jul:    Is that the boy in your room?

Alex turns red

Jul:    It is

Ale:    Dad. Please. Listen

Jul:    What?

Ale:    We talked, a lot. 

Jul:    Not what I heard

Ale:    Ew, gross. 

Jul:    Alex, he didn't change over night

Ale:    I think he did, dad. I kissed him as a joke and three days later here we are. But. I'm asking you to let him stay here..

Jul:    What

Ale:    His dad, John... 

Julio starts listening. Skip to later, Alex and Julio walk up to Alex's room, Julio knocks

Nic:    Yeah?

Jul:    Nick? You decent?

Ale:    It's cool, Nick

Nic:    Yeah

Julio opens the door.

Jul:    Sit

Nick and Alex sit down on the bed, Julio grabs the chair and sits down in front of them

Jul:    Nick. I feel ... really awful about John. You don't deserve that and I want you to grow up the     way we used to know you, Alex said that's still in there. So, you can stay here

Nic:    REALLY?

Jul:    Yes, but listen. I have some rules. If you two are gonna live under the same roof, I know I can't stop you. So, condoms, please. No STD's please

Nic:    Oh boy

Ale:    Get used to this. We talk about things

Jul:    I won't let you guys stay in the same room, okay. We have a guest bedroom, it's yours. Decorate it however you want, hang whatever you want. I will even help you make it your own. No more posters about things you hate

Nick laughs

Jul:    However. Your grades HAVE to go up. I don't want you in detention anymore, you're gonna have to change okay. No bullying people anymore, no throwing things at the teachers. Nothing. Every kid makes a mistake and that's okay, Alex makes them too. BUT I don't want to have the bully Nick okay

Nic:    I promise. I'll change. I swear. I got... Alex, to help me

Jul:    Yes, about that. You might not last, so don't put all your hope on that, okay. If you break up you are still gonna live in the same house because I'm not taking you in for a day, Nick. You're gonna be here at thanksgiving in twenty years too

Nic:    DEAL. Fucking deal. 

Jul:    You guys can do that?

Ale:    Yes

Nic:    Yeah, yeah. 

Jul:    Okay. I'm also gonna need you to come with me Monday morning to the principals office.     We're gonna explain what's going on so your dad will be blocked out from your file. Also, you're gonna get a tutor, that isn't Alex. To show a sign of good faith

Nic:    Okay

Jul:    Okay. Great. Let's get you settled, yeah

Nic:    Yeah.

Nick stands up and goes to hug Julio

Nic:    Thank you

Nick takes his bag and walks to the guest bedroom.

Ale:    Thanks dad

Jul:    Are you two really gonna be a thing now?

Ale:    I...

Alex gets up

Alex walks to the guest bedroom and closes the door
