Lan Xichen gives Jiang Cheng mixed signals, so he gets really vocal about it.

"Is it casual? or are you trying to spend you life with me?" Jiang Cheng had enough of Lan Xichen's teasing and perhaps he has gone into the feelings part.

But the man in question is the one who's making him  feel things.

"Wanyin...what are you on about?"

Jiang Cheng give him a glare. "You say you don't want a boyfriend but when we're in person, you act so different. You hold me when we wake up late and say like me with no make up and-"

"A-Cheng where is this all-"

"Don't interrupt me!" Lan Xichen stops hugging the Jiang's waist.

"And stop telling me you love me if that's not how it really is! So be quick, because if you're playing don't think I'll play with you-"

Lan Xichen looks as though he wanted to speak but stopped himself.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to pressure you, but I want a man to stand with me, not...whatever this is..."

"Wanyin...I understand what you're saying...but if you'd just open the present I got for you...you could find your answer"

Jiang Cheng snatches the small bag from the Lan's hand and takes out a small box "let me guess, a pair of earrings?"

Lan Xichen rolls his eyes as the younger male opens the box, a gasp escapes him and the Lan is hugged tightly.

"Yes I will marry you!"

"That's very good to hear beloved, now will you you apologize to me?"

"...I'm so- sorry"

"And can you say I love you?"

"...you're pushing it-"

"Say it beloved..."

"...I love you"

"Aww my sweet Wanyin, I love you too"
