Hidden in Plain Sight - A Damijon Story

The Javelin landed outside the Hall and the League ran towards the door as the ground began shaking which caused them to move faster. Once they got in it was eerily quiet until they heard shouting coming from one of the rooms. Barry, Clark and Diana sped ahead of the others.

"Do not worry, we have arrived" Diana exclaimed bursting through the doors

"Good" Nezha smirked now whole again

"Now this will be a fight worth fighting, you can no longer hide" Diana smirked charging at the demon and the went tumbling back down the stairs

"Rematch Superman?" Trigon asked

"Remember you asked" Clark stated punching the demon

"Barry!" Wally shouted from a cloud of smoke where part of the roof had collapsed

"Kid?" Barry said running that way

He arrived and ran over the rubble and found the teens, Connor was unconscious trapped under a beam which Jon was barely able to hold. Damian was unconscious cradled by Helena who was trying to wake him and the others were bruised and beaten.

"What happened are you guys alright?" Barry asked

"I happened" Sabbac laughed jumping from what remained of the ceiling

"Not today Demon" Constantine shouted blasting him

"Dad, Mom is downstairs" Zack stated

"Then let's get her, and take some demons down on the way" John smirked

John helped his son up as Bruce arrived rushing to Helena and Damian giving Damian's body a scan through the cowl with Barbara on the other end getting the information.

"He's alright, if he is unconscious it's probably down to being worn out and exhausted" Barry reassured

"We need to finish this, Jonathan get him to the cave and get back here fast" Bruce ordered

"Yes sir" Jon replied taking Damian and flying off

"What now?" Oliver shouted

"Divide, one team take the demons the others close the gate and free the others" Bruce exclaimed

As they began their assault the ground began to shake and the stone floor began to vibrate and crack. The gateway began to grow and it began to take the Hall down as it grew.

"Lantern, Flash change of plans. Crowd control make sure no citizens gather, get the Police to cordon off the area and then come back" Bruce ordered

"I'll go, Barry you need to help here" Wally stated

"I'll go with him, you guys are needed in here. Leave the crowds to us" Emiko stated

"Hold on" Wally smirked running with her

"Let's get this gate closed" Nika exclaimed

"No you stay with Hawke" Barry replied

"He's right Flatline, if we need you we will call. You too Helena" Bruce stated walking off

Bruce, Constantine and Zack made their way down the stairs and past the most of the demons. While they continued on to free the others Jon was arriving at the Manor where Damian's balcony window had been opened and Selena was waiting on a chair inside.

"How is he?" Selena asked

"Unconscious, how did you know we were coming?" Jon asked

"Barbara rang ahead" Selena replied as Jon placed Damian on the bed

As they talked the doors and windows slammed shut and an alarm echoed through the Manor as metal shutters calmed down over the windows. Selena ran to the door but it wouldn't open, she then went to the light switch and moved it to the side revealing an intercom.

"Barbara, what's going on?" Selena asked

There was no response just static

"Oracle, are you there?" Selena asked again

"Wayne Manor has a lockdown mode" Jon questioned

"You have met Bruce haven't you" Selena laughed

"Yeah" Jon laughed with

"Selena, Selena can you hear me" a voice said over the intercom

"Tim?" Selena questioned

"Yeah, I just got back. The Court of Owls are in the Manor, converging on your loca..." Tim said with the line going dead

"Crap" Selena sighed

"I can take them" Jon piped up

"I don't want to risk anything happening to him" Selena replied motioning to Damian

"Then let's get him to the cave and get Tim" Jon replied

"How?" Selena asked

"We are in Damian's room, Damian has backup plans for backup plans, and a back door to the cave" Jon smirked rotating a wall sconce revealing an elevator behind a wall panel

They picked Damian up and got in the elevator, they made their way down to the cave where Tim and Barbara were surprised to see them.

"What in the" Tim exclaimed

"I'll explain later, right now I want to know why they are here" Selena stated

"Well we don't think they know about our secret identities" Tim replied

"It's just Talons by the looks of things, they separated into two groups one went to Helena's room, the other to Damian's" Babs followed

"Recruitment is our guess" Tim said

"Take the Manor off lockdown, they'll breach the room and see he's gone and leave" Jon said

"That might not work" Babs stated

"But it could, they have been here for a bit and they had to get here. Their time out of there pods is running out they'll have to go" Tim stated

"True, okay lifting the lockdown protocols on the Manor, but the cave remains locked down" Babs replied

"Jon come with me" Tim said walking off

"Where are we going?" Jon asked

"You need to get back to the others, I'm taking you to the back door" Tim replied

"The back door?" Jon questioned

"Secret door might be better" Tim replied

"All doors to this place are secret" Jon stated

"That is true" Tim laughed

Tim unlocked the door for Jon and closed it just as quickly as he took off. Jon didn't want to waste anymore time then he had too, he knew the situation was bad from the moment he left but held out hope that everything was going to be okay. As he broke the sound barrier flying he kept expecting to see the League and others standing victorious but as he arrived he saw the Hall of Justice bellowing smoke and parts of it caved in. He took in the sight before nose diving downwards.
