" Happy birthday Chorong!" Chorong's family and yours were close since you two were neighbors thus making you childhood friends. It was her birthday today but also the last day she would be staying in the city since she'll be moving to Seoul to pursue her dream of becoming an idol

" Thanks Y/n/n" Both of you sat beside each other at the table with Chorong's younger sister, Chaerin, at your other side
" Y/n oppa will you also be going to Seoul with Chorong unnie?" SHe asked, you two were also close since you both are the same age but you're older by a month
" No Chaerinah, he'll be here to protect you" Chorong answer for you instead making Chaerin smile with glee continuing to eat her food. The dinner party went on well into the night and now you were outside on the porch of Chorong's home sitting leaning on the railings of their house
" You might get cold out here" You turned around to find Chorong coming towards you. She tossed you a jacket to help you keep warm and you thanked her. Silence was the atmosphere surrounding the both of you but you liked it as you look up at the night sky
" Sorry about the sudden news Y/n/n" Chorong apologized knowing you were taking it the hardest among the rest of her family
" Don't worry about it noona. It just means your dad would focus everything on me now" You recalled the countless times your body was aching from training with Chorong's dad all day long
" Well I'll tell him to go easy on you before I leave"
" That's easy for you to say noona. You're not there to stop him anymore" Chorong just giggled at you making you laugh as well and placing a smile on both of your faces. The atmosphere was silent again but you knew that what you felt for Chorong was more than friends and wanted to speak about it
" Noona I...." Before you could finish what you were saying, Chaerin ran out of their home and leaped into Chorong's arms to which she caught her
" Oppa, unnie mom and dad want you back inside. They won't let me eat the cake without you two there" Chaerin pouted looking at both of you making you smile while rubbing her head
" Then we better head inside" Chaerin jumped in excitement heading inside first
" What were you about to say Y/n/n?"
" Nothing noona, let's head inside. I don't want Chaerin to rush us" You head first inside leaving Chorong confused but shrugged it off and followed you afterwards
