As Mario, Sonic, Toad, and the rest of the gang make their way to the Mushroom Kingdom, some toads punch coin blocks and they act like ATM machines. A red toad was tired from getting out coins.

"Excuse me everybody, coming through! Got a big adventure happening right now. Just clear a path for us. If I could just... excuse me." Toad says.

All the other citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom got shoved just a little by Toad. One mushroom drops a giant gold coin and Mario picks it up. Many mushrooms stared at Mario, Tom, Tails, Knuckles, and Sonic. But some Toads were focused on Sonic and they whispered things under their breath to other citizens... almost as if they knew something about the blue blur.

"It can't be..."

"It's not possible."

"He's gotta be from... that... place..."

Sonic had no idea what the Toad's were whispering about, but it didn't matter to him right now. Mario gives a Red Toad a coin.

"Here ya go." He said, donning his cap.

"That has gotta be the biggest coin I've ever seen." Tom said.

Sonic looks at his bag full of rings and his map. He saw the two Chaos Emeralds he collected from Brooklyn and the Mushroom Forest. He doesn't know why the Chaos Emeralds were here in this world, but some mysteries are better solved later. Unlike that Piranha Plant that chomped at his left arm earlier. Tom had to bandage that wound up. But why did that thing attack him is a question that rung in his head for some time.

"Everyone is staring." Knuckles said.

"You think?" Tails said, being obvious.

Sonic however was taken in by the many distractions of the Mushroom Kingdom's city.

"This is... freaking INCREDIBLE!!!! Mario, we gotta check this whole place out!!" Sonic said, hyped up.

"Sonic, we can't get too distracted. Remember why we're here." Mario informed.

Unfortunately, the hedgehog had to remember why he was here: cause of his own curiosity and following Mario on his job to ask him if her was done for the day so they could hang out, they got lost in the Mushroom Kingdom! But it's true what they say: curiosity killed the cat. Toad however shouts to make a clear path.

"EXCUSE ME EVERYBODY! COMING THROUGH! THIS GUYS BROTHER AND THIS HEDGEHOGS ADOPTED MOTHER ARE GOING TO DIE, IMMINENTLY!!!!! OUT OF THE WAY PLEASE!!" Toad yells.

Tom, Sonic, and Mario are instantly shocked and angered by what Toad just said! That's not how you clear a path in public! The blue blur zooms in front of the mushroom, sparks of light zapping from out of his quills. Knuckles wanted to punch Toad but he knew that would make him look bad.

"Hey!" Mario said, shrugging his arms in annoyance.

"Dude! That is not something you say in public!! That's only gonna make me, Mario, and my dad HIGHLY concerned for their safety!" Sonic scolded.

Toad chuckled.

"Just trying to clear a path. That's all I'm doing. They're gonna be fine." Toad said.
