"Mum, I'm hungry," Max whined. Savannah slung her arm around his shoulder.

"Let me just finish talking to Carmen and we'll go and get something," she promised him. He grunted in agreement.

Savannah turned back to George's glamorous girlfriend and they resumed their conversation about the team dinner that had been organised for that night.

It was the weekend of the British Grand Prix, one of Mercedes' home races. They may have officially been a German team but the majority of their staff were British.

A few minutes later she led Max towards the Mercedes motorhome. She knew once he started whining he wouldn't stop until he got what he wanted. In this case, food. Truth be told she was a little
peckish herself.

She always seemed to be hungry these days.  She guessed that was just part and parcel of being pregnant.   She smiled to herself as she thought of the secret she and Seb shared.

She placed her hand on her still flat stomach over the top of her pale yellow maxi dress.   She was now ten weeks and three days.   A private scan Seb had booked for the day after she'd told him the news had confirmed their baby was due on the 23rd of January.  A winter break baby. They couldn't have planned it better.  It would be born a week or so earlier than the due date though as she would have a planned caesarean.  It had been an extremely emotional moment for the pair of them when they'd seen their baby on the screen. It hadn't even looked like a baby yet but the sound of its little heart beating had been unmistakable. Both of them had she'd happy tears.

She was so excited now, she couldn't believe she'd been reluctant to have another one.  And she'd been finding it so hard to keep it a secret from her parents and from Daisy and Joel.   She Seb, Max and Casey had been staying at her parents' house this week in preparation for the British Grand Prix, which was just a stones throw from their house.

Today was race day and she and Max had gone to the track with Seb. Casey had opted to stay with her grandparents.  She found the track boring.

"Can we have that pasta again Mum?" Max asked as they entered the motorhome.

"If they have it Max."

"It's the best pasta ever.  Where's Seb anyway?"

"He's getting ready for the driver parade.  I told you that."

"Oh yeah," he replied, grinning.  Going up to the counter, Max was pleased to see that they did indeed have his favourite pasta dish.  Savannah asked for two portions. They picked their plates up and headed for a table.

"So it's good to see Nan and Grandad again isn't it?" she asked him.  He nodded as he shovelled a forkful of pasta into his mouth.

"Yeah," he mumbled. "I don't really like it here though. I miss Switzerland." It had been over a year since Max and Casey had been in the U.K.   She'd  debated whether to bring them this time or not but now the court had sided with her she no longer feared Christian's threats.  In fact bid the courts had made it clear he wouldn't be getting parental rights she hadn't heard a word from him.    He hadn't paid her a penny in child support either but she didn't care. She didn't want or need his money.

"Ah eating again?" Seb said as he appeared from his room.   He dropped a kiss on Savannah's head and ruffled Max's hair.  Savannah eyed him up.  Damn, she was so lucky.  He looked  gorgeous in his denim cutoffs and black Mercedes polo shirt!  Her sex drive had gone into overdrive lately.  She didn't know if that was a pregnant thing or whether it was just being married to the sexiest man alive.

"Max has a thing for this pasta.  I must admit it is rather nice."

"I'll ask Darren for the recipe for you if you like?"
