37. At The Forest

Your PoV

It's almost dinner and just like what I promised, I'll be in cafeteria. I decided to go back to the dorm after I just did my plan for Tzuyu's birthday. And I had a feeling that she'll like it.

I checked the time on my watch as I continue to run. It was tiring, yeah, but I know it will be worth it.

"Guys!" I called as I immediately spotted Momo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun.

"Where's Tzuyu?" I asked.

"Oh, she's not yet here. Wait, haven't you come back to your room yet?"

"I haven't... I just finished something." I said.

Actually, I want to tell them about the surprise that I prepare. I also think that they would be excited to know it's Tzuyu's birthday. But thinking, Tzuyu didn't tell to any of us, maybe she doesn't want us to know.

I mean that usually some people reaction. Some even freaked out when someone prepared a surprise for them.

But I do think Tzuyu's gonna like my surprise. Tomorrow, I'll just tell Momo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung. It's better late than never.

"Oh look, there she is." Chaeyoung said which made me look.

"Tzuyu!"

"You guys been here? Sorry I'm late, I did something." Tzuyu said and sat beside me.

"You're just in time, I just got here too." I said.

"So, what exactly you two did? What something?" Momo asked.

"Important." Tzuyu and I said in unison which made me look at her and also her.

"Hmm... Okay." Momo mumbled.

"Let's just eat." I suggested.

We did get our meals and started to eat. While everyone is chitchatting, I noticed that Tzuyu is quiet.

I know that she's quiet most of the times but she do talk. She reacts but this time she seems laying on her thoughts.

"Are you okay?" I asked as she looked at me. Maybe noticed that I am staring at her.

She sends me a faint smile and continue to eat.

After some minutes, we finished eating. We decided to leave the cafeteria and head back to our room.

As we got in our room, Tzuyu haven't said any words.

"So, what important things you worked on?" I asked as I closed the door behind.

"Studying... How about you?"

"I can't spoil it." I just said.

"Spoil? Is it something about school?"

"Oh more than that!" I squealed in excitement.

Just wait my dear friend, later you'll be having a great night.

"What were you studying anyway? Is there anything I can help?" I asked.

"Yeah, but it's fine. I can handle it." She said and walked to her table.

I looked at my watch so I could see if it's to reveal it.

"Are you gonna sleep early tonight?" I asked.

"Uhm... I'm not sure. I'll probably stay up to continue my study."

By now I started to get curious about what study she's referring. I do know she's willing to stay up for studying.

That just made me conclude that she's not a bad student at all. I heard from mom she had many schools. I thought it's just that she doesn't want school, but maybe it's because she's in a wrong school.
