I threw my phone across the room hoping it would land on my bed when there was a thud.
"ayy watch where you throw that thing" Hazel said rubbing her head, "i could've died in Qatar"
"imagine, we would've flown your dead body back to Mexico" i laughed going back to choosing my outfit for the day
"okay but green jersey or this white one?" i said holding up the two jerseys
"white- save the green for the official game tomorrow so we can go twinning!"
"you're so smart"
I set down the green jersey putting on the white one pairing it with biker shorts and a white cap
"aver, do a little twirl for me girlfriend"
"ya porque me chiflas" i say laughing while giving her my best model twirl
"kevin is so lucky to have you-"
Knock Knock
"that must be him, i'll meet you at practice okay?" i sprayed perfume before walking over to the door to meet kevin
"hola mi amor" i say while opening the door
"hola kat, estas lista para bajar?"
"lista" i smile closing the door behind me
"bueno, what are we doing today?"
"there's a smoothie shop around the block, maybe we could have that for breakfast?" he clicked the button for the elevator opening it up, "the team made a reservation for dinner at a fancy restaurant so i hope you can join"
"i'll be there, but let's get those smoothies first. tengo hambre"
the elevator doors finally opened leading us into the lobby

"kevin mira, they have strawberry mango!!" i shook him in excitement pointing to the menu
"strawberry mango?" he said with a disgusted face, "mira el de chocolate" he licked his lips rubbing his stomach
"ay que básico, anyway puedes ordenar? i'll go pick our table"
"si esta bien, can you take my stuff with you?"
i nod taking his phone and the backpack he has been carrying around

out of natural instinct i look down at the notification from kevin's phone
