I decided to ignore the other two texts this Natalia was sending him and sat down at a table for two next to the window.
I pulled my phone out clicking on Hazels contact

i place my phone back down on the table looking up to see Kevin with two smoothies in his hands
"yum yum i can't wait to finish this up" i say taking the smoothie from his hand
"calmada, it's probably not even good" he says while taking a seat
Ding Ding
I take a look at my phone seeing Hazel has texted me back

should i be on the look out?

"who are you texting?" Kevin asked while taking a sip from his drink
"who's Natalia?" I say also taking a sip from the drink
"she's a friend i met here in Qatar, shes from Monterrey"
"hmm a friend"
"how do you know about her?"
"Kevin cuando estás libre? puedo ir a la práctica?" i say in a mockingly tone
"she's friendly, but i don't think she'll be at practice today"
"anyway, I was talking to Hazel, she said she's out with Diego somewhere" i lied
He nodded not giving a vocal response but continued drinking his smoothie.
"pero, are you excited to finally play tomorrow?"
"yes, we've been training really hard for this day and i'm glad you're here with me"
"so am i," i smile "wait i completely forgot to give you a taste of the smoothie, toma" i slide the drink over to him
"yo no voy a tomar ese vaso de vomito" he says sliding the drink back to me

"babe remember th-that one time we went ice skating a-and your dumb ass fell on top of that little girl" i say in between laughs remembering the time we went ice skating last year

"kevin hold onto the rail and then just hold onto me"
i placed his hand down on the railing letting him gain his balance on his own
"i think i'm ready to do this without the railing" he started moving his legs left and right, left and right then BOOM
Kevin was on the floor crushing a little girl
"amor ayúdame, la niña esta llorando"
I helped him get onto his knees but soon enough, I was suddenly on the floor with him
"you were supposed to help me up, not fall with me"
We both just laid on the floor laughing until we were yelled at to stand up

"yeah and then you had to fall down with us" he says joining in with laughter that was soon filling in the uber with loud noise, probably annoying the driver
the rest of the drive to practice was just us talking about the memory of the skating day
"we're here, thank you for riding with me. have a good day" the uber driver says as we get out the car
we walk to the building entering and revealing the team waiting for Kevin to begin practicing
"andale kevin, no tenemos su tiempo" chucky laughs hurrying him up
"wey el uber se tardó en llegar, pero ya estoy aqui" he runs off onto the field leaving me in the entry way. I look around for a bit trying to find hazel until i spot her with a group of girls
"baby hazel, it's like i haven't seen you in forever" i say running towards her
she turns around looking for me and laughs, "babe i missed you so much more, here sit" i placed my purse down on my lap admiring kevin from below
"kat, wanna talk to these fans, they've been waiting for like an hour" hazel whispers to me
i nod trying to think of something to initiate a conversation.
"hola chicas, soy katya! ustedes como se llaman?" i turn my head over to their direction
"hey katya, soy camila"
"yasmin"
"y guardando la mejor para el final, soy natalia"
