Meanwhile...

"Yeah!" Chen cheered, as he and Kelly shared a high five, now standing at the front doors of the theater.

Marv and Leyla shot looks at each other, still gasping for air. Their hearts were beginning to beat normally, slowly but steady. While the audience applauded, chered and breathed, the man in the lookout position outside became suspicious of the noise coming from the big room.

"What the hell?" wondered the man with the automatic weapon.

He took several steps towards the closed doors of the theater, not noticing a silhouette that flashed from one side of the hall, to another. The shadow ran quickly, towards a narrow hallway between the two music rooms in the middle of the hall.

The man titled his head, wondering about the loud noises coming from the theater. He took slow small steps towards the closed doors, his weapon still pointing at the doors in the opposite side of the hall.  Suddenly...

WHISTLE

The man jumped out of his skin. "What was that?"

POW POW

The man fired two rounds aimlessly, as he stood angrily in the middle of the empty hall. He breathed quickly, looking back and forth. His eyes were wide and his ears were on high alert.

"Who's there?" he called, annoyed.

WHISTLE

"KID, YOU'RE DEAD!" he yelled angrily racing towards the sound.

The man rushed to a narrow door, just between two large rooms. he stopped, opened the door halfway and stuck his head in slowly. The space led to a narrow dark staircase. Between the darkness, he didn't spot anybody. He retrieved, opened the door completely and went in. The man took giant steps, as the wooden stairs rattled with his weight.

THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP

The top of the stairs led to a wall, with a small ledge to the right. Once on the top step, the man froze, looking around him. The bottom of the path resembled that of a wolf's mouth: dark, hollow and scary. The eerie silence permeated the corridor, as the man's breaths became deeper and faster in rhythm.

He took several steps to the right, then landed on the long hallway. The dark path featured four doors, two on each side. He went by the first. Locked. He went by the second. Locked.

He froze, noticing the last two doors were wide opened. He gripped his weapon tightly, as he began approaching the door on the right. He swung his head through the door. A bathroom.

With only two stalls, one small chair and an open storage space, with some cleaning supplies in the corner, the room stood vacant. From the door, the man inspected every inch, very slowly, meticulously. He looked on carefully, examining everything without putting one foot in the actual room.

THUMP

GASP

The man jumped, as he turned towards the other room. The sound. It came from that room. There was no other place to hide. The kid was trapped!

CLICK CLICK

The man positioned his fingers steadily on the trigger, preparing his weapon for a serious of continuous rounds. His aim? Whoever he finds!

Meanwhile...

CCCRRRRRAAAAAAAAAACCCKKKKKKKK

The door of the theater opened slowly, very slowly. Kelly peaked her right eye through, trying to hold her breath. Leyla and Chen kept the crowd in check, as they tried their best to hush everyone.
