"For attempted assassination and treason, you y/n l/n are hereby exiled from the mushroom kingdom!" Toadsworth's voice echoed around the court room. All eyes were on me. Peach could be heard softly sobbing in the corner. Mario was staring daggers into me, and Luigi was gently consoling the selfish princess. Two toad guards came up behind me to escort me out of the kingdom's boundaries, grabbing the chain that connected my wrists together and harshly dragging me out the door where I was met with an entire kingdom of very angry toads throwing garbage and rotten fruits and vegetables at me. This kingdom gave me nothing but a life of misery. I'm glad to be rid of it, but I'm also furious I didn't get my revenge. However, I know exactly where to go once we reach the kingdom's borders. One toad manages to hit me in the head with a can and they all cheer. I even hear on of the guards dragging me chuckle. 'yep, definitely making a beeline for Bowser castle the second the two kiss-ass misshapen dwarves let me go' I tell myself and more garbage hits me.
By the time we make it to the border, I'm filthy and I look and smell like I just crawled out of a dumpster. "Alright, this is as far as we take you, criminal." one of the guards tells me as he unlocks the chains around my wrists. They both glare at me and spit at my feet before turning on their heels to head back to the kingdom. "Oh, yeah one more thing," one of them starts. "If we catch you in the kingdom again, you will immediately be taken into custody and be executed." he laughs evilly at the last word and then turns back around and keeps walking. I sigh and shake my head at their behavior, wondering why everyone thinks that damned kingdom and their stuck-up little bitch of a princess is so great.
"Okay y/n, step one. Go to Bowser castle and request an audience with the king, and hope they don't kill me on the spot." I tell myself, the doubt evident in the way my voice shakes. I begin to march toward the dark cloud that constantly hangs over the Koopa King's domain.
