Sesshomaru wandered the woods, trying to find the smell that faded last night. Chelsea was gone, it frustrated him, he knew someone got her. "I should have stayed and protected her in her vulnerable moment." He said to himself, thinking about how long she laid there, before she actually stood and left.

Bushes rustled nearby causing him to look, he narrowed his eyes knowing the scent.

"Come on Miroku we have to get the girls back!" His half-breed brother started coming through the trees.

Another little voice shouted, "Wait up Inuyasha!"

The dog eared half-demon stopped as he saw his brother, "What are you doing here?" He growled.

"I was wondering the same thing." His eyes were still narrowed, as he spoke harshly to his brother.

Inuyasha put up a threatening fist. "It's none of your business!" He barked.

"Then stay out of my way." He continued to walk, looking for Chelsea.

Shippō hoped on Inuyasha's shoulder, "Is he really going to just keep going? Not fight you or anything." He sounded confused.

"Looks like." Inuyasha felt confused, watching his brother walk. He looked like he was looking for something, occasionally he would stop and smell the air. "Hey, Sesshomaru, seriously, what are you looking for?" He shouted after him.

The young lord looked over his shoulder at him, "It is none of your concern." His voice was flat.

Miroku stumbled through the trees, "Hey, what's he doing here?" He looked up and saw Sesshomaru.

"Don't know, he won't tell us." Shippō answered.

Miroku looked around, "Well, have you caught Kagome's scent?" He asked, "Or even the bandits?"

Inuyasha looked around, "The stink of bandits is everywhere, I have no idea which way they went, it's almost like they went in a circle." His voice was frustrated.

"Well, well." Sesshomaru turned and looked at him, seeing an opportunity to tear him down. "Lost your woman? How pathetic."

Inuyasha glared at him, "I said it was none of your business!" He snapped.

"Did you ask him if he saw bandits around here?" Miroku looked at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha glared at him, "Like he would help us!"

"I'm gonna take that as a no." Miroku looked at Sesshomaru, "You haven't seen any bandits or happen to see our female companions run through here, have you?"

"Are you seriously asking him!?" Inuyasha snapped.

"No." The demon's voice was flat.

They all looked at him, "Is that a no you didn't or a no you didn't care if you did?" Shippō asked confused.

"I haven't seen anyone out here." He glared at them.

Inuyasha glared back, "What's with the look? We are just asking!"

He didn't want to admit that he lost Chelsea, but if his brother was looking for their women, maybe these bandits took her as well. You were that weak? His heart sank, he wished he didn't leave her.

Miroku looked around, "Chelsea isn't around?" He eyed Sesshomaru, "Are you looking for her?"

Keeping his composure, he didn't answer, he just turned and started walking away.

"Hey! He asked you a question!" His little brother spat.

"I'm going to take that as a yes." Shippō answered, then looked at Inuyasha. "Do you think that she was picked up by the bandits as well?"
