Sesshomaru stopped, it was there, just enough but he felt it. Turning he darted without thinking, Chelsea sent out a burst of energy. She's in trouble. He pushed through the trees and rain, the lightning and thunder grew louder, the rain got thicker as he went. I'm getting close. Chelsea summon your weapons, I'm coming.

Inuyasha slowed down, "Geez!" He jumped into a tree, "The rain is getting impossible."

Kagome shielded her eyes with her hand, "I know," She looked around, "Can any of you see?"

Sango looked at them, she had a funny looking umbrella, "It is pretty bad."

"Where did you get that?" Inuyasha complained.

Shippō's face appeared on the top of the umbrella, "It's me, I was hoping to help a bit."

Inuyasha growled, "We have to get to that shard; how close are we Kagome?" He looked up head.

"We just have to keep going, it doesn't feel that much farther, it's really not moving." She tried to look around and ahead to see if there was a clearer path, before Inuyasha started out again.

"You killed her!" The gaseous cloud spat, "I said break, not kill."

"Silence." Naraku brushed it away; then bent down, picking up a handful of red hair off the floor. Lifting Chelsea off the ground, she was limp, he looked into her eyes. "She's not dead." His voice was flat.

"What?" The clouded demon floated around, observing her, she looked lifeless.

Kagura watched, everything that just happened was almost too much for her, she went to the door. "Excuse me."

"Where are you going?" Naraku challenged.

She froze, "No where, I was just going to leave you two with your new plaything." She glanced over her shoulder.

"No." Naraku stopped her, then looked back at Chelsea. "You are going to stay here."

She turned, "Why?"

"Because..." He looked at her face studyingly, "She's not dead, just pulled herself into herself so deep, to get away." He looked at the ghost, "Did you not know she could do this?"

It floated next to him, "She hadn't done it in years, she was so young. I didn't think she would."

"Well, that would have been nice to know." Naraku growled, "Oh well, I have another plan."

Kagura and the shadow ghost looked at him curiously.

His hand started to glow red, and he reached into Chelsea's chest. You could hear a breath of air escape her, like she could still feel what he did.

"What are you doing?" The shadow ghost barked.

"She had power and I want it, but I couldn't take her in to my body." He ripped his hand back out of her chest, dropping the body on the floor. The dead weight was a heavy thud; the demon looked into his hand, looking at her heart, it was severely damaged. It was so dark in some places, tough in others, but obviously torn apart seeing all the heartstrings that hung from it. With a fresh wound, like it had just broken more strings and been torn open. He looked at it carefully, "So, I'm just going to take her body over." Pulling out a sacred jewel shard, he flicked it off into the corner of the room. It stopped and a shadowy cloak came out, it had checkered-looking gloves on.

Kagura watched; the figure was nothing spectacular, only a black cloak, with a black and white sash that held it shut. It began to murmur something, but it was inaudible.
