I sat up in my chair, my hair still warm from the curling iron allowing it to be wrapped around it. Rose was spraying hairspray around my whole head, Brynn held a mirror up to me, "Khloe, you look absolutely gorgeous."

I smiled as I opened my eyes, "Oh my gosh ladies, you've really outdone yourselves this time."

I stood up and walked over to my dress, it was hanging up on my door, the red sparkling and shimmering.

That's right.

A red dress.

The color of romance.

"Should I put this bad boy on?" I said as I took it off of its hook, holding it infront of me.

Ainsley was crying, for a reason that I don't know. Brynn wrapped her arms around her and nodded her head, "Do it girl."

I put on my dress, it felt like I was wearing a feather but it looked like I was wearing a beautiful dress. My hair was perfectly curled, yet it looked longer than it had when straightened. My makeup was darker than usual but it had brought out my eyes, which is good when I have to wear glasses 24/7.

I started to tear up, "Guys, I look beautiful."

Arabelle ran over and started to blot under my eyes, "DO NOT MESS UP YOUR MAKEUP!"

I started to laugh, trying not to cry. "You guys are literally the best friends I could ever ask for."

Just then Veronica walked in, "You didn't expect me to let my best friend go out with her boyfriend without me approving of her appearance, did you?"

I smiled and ran to her, she felt so short and me wearing my heals was not helping.

"You have no idea how much it means to have you here," I said as I let go. "I'm so nervous."

She stroked my hair, "Khloe, you guys love eachother. Why should you ever be nervous around him?"

I looked down at my shoes, black heals that have never been worn before. She was telling the truth, I shouldn't be nervous around Brayden, I love him and he loves me.

I looked back up at Veronica, playing with my charm bracelet, "Thank you guys. But, I think it's time I go downstairs don't you?"

They all started laughing, "Go get him girl."

I walked out of my room, grabbing my bag on the way. I was becoming quite sure that this date was going to go well as I stepped onto my stairs. I looked down and saw Brayden stop right at the bottom step, his suit and red tie made him look so much older. He began to smile as he looked up and down my body.

"Hi." He said as I took the last step down.

"Hey." I said. I started smiling, for he was speechless.

"Are you ready to go?" He said as he offered me his arm.

I put my arm through his, "Our carriage awaits."
